I’m curvy and petite and found the best dress for my figure – it makes me feel rich, I could take over the world

A SLIM thicc shopper insists she feels rich enough to take over the world after finding the dream dress that flaunts her figure.

Carla Kent, 27, describes herself as “your petite curvy bestie” and loves to help shoppers find outfits that flatter their shape.

In a recent post (@carlakentx), the makeup artist – from Glasgow – showed off two new frocks she picked up from Australian brand Meshki.

Carla insisted her new buys are “dresses that will make you feel rich”.

First up, she modelled a £79 asymmetrical rib knit maxi dress in ivory which she snapped up in a size large.

She said: “This is the first one. Sorry, what? Look at this dress.

“It covers a little bit of the arms so if you’re a bit self-conscious about your shoulders or arms it’s fine.

“I feel rich, I feel expensive, love it.”

Next, Carla tried on her new black collared contrast maxi dress – also £79 – which boasts stunning pearl detail buttons.

Meshki bosses say the frock is perfect for any occasion, and “exudes effortless sophistication” and “timeless allure”.

She insisted: “It’s giving I don’t need a man, it’s giving I am a rich man. I feel like I can take over the world in this dress. It’s gorgeous.

“I think it’s meant to be midi but it’s ankle length on me.

“If you want to love yourself, go to Meshki. Meshki, I love you.”

Both dresses are available in sizes XXS – 3XL, with Carla revealing: “I’m roughly a 10-12 in dresses and I got a large.”

Her try on clip has since gone viral with 54,000 views – and fashion fans are loving it.

“I love both especially that dress with the collar it’s different”, said one.

A second wrote: “That second dress omg.”

A third added: “I neeeed your whole wardrobe. That white dress is BEAUTIFUL.”

Meanwhile, a fourth insisted: “Girl it ain’t the dresses it’s the BODY , the body is bawdying queen.”

It comes after Carla urged people to wear what they want regardless of their shape while modelling pairs of tiny shorts.

She said: “Life is SHORT so just wear the short shorts.

“If I’ve got my tree trunk legs in hot pants then you can.

“This year we just wear what we want.”

Influencer Carla was back on our TV screens this year as reality show The Agency: Unfiltered returned for a second season on BBC Scotland.

The new series once again followed Aquarius Creative, Scotland’s largest influencer agency, its founders Kirsten Cameron and Amy Moore, and their clients.

In just one year, series one and two of the show have now reached a combined total of over 1 million streams.

The Agency: Unfiltered’s first and second season are available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
