A recent TikTok has unearthed a long-forgotten relationship between the meme Queen, Nadine Coyle and Desperate Housewives star, Jesse Metcalfe.
Nadine Coyle is known and beloved in the UK, not just for being a key member of Girls Aloud, but also for being the accidental queen of comedy one-liners during her various television appearances.
From the amazing way she pronounces flour (floy-eur) to her lying about her date of birth in the TV show Popstars, the singer is cemented in British culture as an absolute icon.
One piece of iconic behaviour from Nadine that managed to slip through out nets is that she used to date John Tucker Must Die’s Jesse Metcalfe.
A TikTok highlighting their relationship in pictures has shocked fans who were taken aback and confused as to how the Northern Irish singer even crossed paths with the American actor.
Commenters took to social media with their surprise. @laurenbinns: ‘I forgot this ever happened.’ ‘How did they meet and how did he understand her accent lol,’ @melisxox5 asked.

The couple’s relationship got us thinking about other weird celeb pairings and times when a low-key British celebrity has coupled up with a rather random famous face from across the pond.
In 2015, Stacey Solomon and Jackass star Steve-O dated for six months. The couple both appeared on The Jump and reportedly the stuntman moved to the UK so that he could spend time with her.
Per The Sun, in his new book he said that he was ‘smitten’ with the Loose Women star: ‘I was smitten, I lavished her with attention, I got what I wanted and then I broke it off.’
‘I had become not only part of her life, I’d become part of her kids’ lives too. And then – poof – I was gone.’
He added: ‘To this day, I still beat myself up about the way it went down. Ironically, I don’t think Stacey does. We aren’t in touch anymore, but she has corresponded with my family and seems to bear no ill toward me.’

In the late 1980s, Brad Pitt dated Sinitta for two years. The star, who also dated Simon Cowell, told New magazine that she was the famous one when she dated Brad and Simon.
‘It’s important to remember Simon and Brad were not superstars when I met them – I was the famous one.’ She added: ‘I don’t just date famous, super-rich men, I create them!’
‘I end up being a lucky charm in their lives and after me, everything they touch turns to gold.’
She revealed that they broke up because they were in a long-distance relationship and things ‘fizzled’ with the Fight Club star.

Emily Blunt has been in a relationship with John Krasinski for such a long time that it’s easy to forget that she actually used to date other people!
In fact for three years, the British actress dated Canadian singer, Michael Bublé when they meet backstage at one of his gigs in 2005.
Per The Mirror, the singer blamed their conflicting schedules saying: ‘In my business it’s tough to go out with another artist because you’re never together.’
‘You’re lucky if you can see the person once every two to three months and with Em, she was on her movies and I was doing my thing so it made it more difficult.’
