Stacey Solomon has taken to Instagram to ask fans for their healing remedies after sustaining a nasty injury on her stomach.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter, 34, often lets her followers inside Pickle Cottage and the day-to-day life of her family, including her husband Joe Swash and their five children.

But the highs – including their beautiful intimate wedding and gorgeous home birth with youngest daughter Belle, one – come the lows as the Loose Women panellist revealed a cringe-inducing accident she’d had in the home while cooking.

‘I need your help and guidance,’ she said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories.

‘I burnt myself this morning. Basically, I was making bread – who do I think I am? – and I’d just been to the gym.

‘Come back in the house, was making bread, put it in the oven, went to pull it out and pulled it too far and where I was wearing my gym kit it went straight into my stomach.’

She went on to describe the pain of the unfortunate burn, saying she didn’t immediately register what had happened.

‘I don’t know if anyone else’s brain is like this, it never registers burns like it does any other pain,’ she continued.

‘So it went into my stomach and I was like “Is that hot? Should that be hot? Should it be hurting? Ow.” So I wasn’t immediately “Ow” I had like a whole thought process before “Ow” and I pushed it away quickly, got something cool on it, put some burns cream on it, and dress it – done.’

However, despite being quick to jump to action, she needed help from her followers during the healing process.

Stacey continued: ‘I’ve just literally opened it up and I’m like “Oh what have I done?” So if you’ve got any good tips for what to put on burns so they don’t scar for the future or reduce scarring and how to reduce the stinginess of it that would be really helpful.

‘It’s right on the blooming crease of my tummy as well so every time I bend down I’m like “Ooh”‘, she added, before sharing a picture of the long, straight, dark purple burn mark on her stomach.

It comes after Stacey was flooded with concerned messages over the actions of her toddler Rose (Picture: Stacey Solomon/Instagram)

She pointed out the visible, circular burns above the long line ‘from the grill’, jokingly adding ‘Hopefully it will settle down and look like extra abs in the future.’

It comes after the I’m A Celeb star was inundated with messages of concern about her dogs after tot Rose, two, seemed to suggest she would feed raisins to the family pups, Teddy and Peanut.

Raisins can be poisonous to dogs, and if eaten could lead to devastating symptoms from gut problems to kidney failure.

Stacey replied publicly to one on her Instagram stories, saying she had ‘literally 10 million’ messages telling her dog’s shouldn’t eat raisins.

‘This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up & they can’t be eaten by the doggies & there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their fave spot,’ she wrote.

She added: ‘But just in case any of that still wasn’t clear… DON’T feed raisins to dogs.’
