00s pop icon announces massive UK tour with special guest-Josie Copson-Entertainment – Metro

Craig David will not be chilling in February 2025, he’ll instead be spending many of his seven days of each week performing to large crowds.

The pop icon is heading on the Comittment tour, where he’ll visit 11 UK cities, starting at First Direct Arena in Leeds on February 2, and finishing in London at the iconic O2 on February 20.

He’ll be filling it in with adoring fans, who’ll want to make sure they arrive on time to see the support act who is another legend of the genre – Lemar, who has hits If There’s Any Justice and It’s Not That Easy. Anyone who was 50-50 about buying tickets is surely convinced now.

The pair will also visit Birmingham, Glasgow, Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle, Milton Keynes, Brighton, Manchester, and Bournemouth.

Craig, 42, last took his music on the UK road in 2022, so fans will be excited to see him back where he belongs – nope, not on the M2, on stage of course!

Tickets will go on sale May 3 at 10am so pre-warn your boss that you’ll be occupied. You can buy tickets on Ticketmaster here.

Fans can also secure tickets earlier with pre-sale options at many of the venues, which begin May 1 and are available from the same vendor.

The exact February dates and venues are as follows:

7 – Milton Keynes, Marshall Arena
8 – Brighton, Brighton Centre

There could be competition with fans already excited about the future tour.

‘Yess Omg Monday made, thanks Craig, met you in 22 but I’m still waiting to see you on tour, man fantastic bro happy Monday,’ wrote Yasmin under his announcement post on X.

‘I really do hope I can come and see you next year in 2025 in Birmingham your concerts are a vibe and there’s so much energy on stage especially with your singing,’ typed Baddest Queen on Instagram.

Comedian Munya Chawawa simply wrote: ‘YES 👏🔥 there bro!’

‘I’m dying here!!!!!!! With Lemar!!!!!!!!!!,’ said a less calm fan.

What can fans expect from Craig David’s Commitment tour?

‘I can’t wait to bring my band back to the UK for my 2025 Commitment arena tour,’ teased Craig, who is also performing North America dates in May this year.

He added: ‘Looking forward to having a party and mixing up the classics and maybe something new…’

Craig has plenty of hits to choose from – he’s got an impressive 25 UK top 40 singles, and ten UK top 40 albums. His catchy songs include 7 Days, Fill Me In, and Walking Away.

He has become a legend in his field with multiple BRIT Award and Grammy nominations, and four MOBO Awards, and three Ivor Novello Awards, and he even inspired a heart-warming British tradition.

Most recently, he collaborated with Love Island star Wes Nelson on Abracadabra, which they performed on the ITV dating show. His recent statement also suggested there could be more new music on the way. Don’t leave us hanging Craig!

For those who can’t wait to see Craig, he is once again doing an Ibiza Rocks residency for the seventh summer.
