The blaze at Cara Delevingne’s home has stumped the Los Angeles Fire Department as they found the cause of the fire to be ‘undetermined’.

Despite weeks of investigations at the 31-year-old actor’s $7million home, the damage caused made it difficult to determine the cause and the case has now officially closed.

However, a source told TMZ that there were no signs of foul play involved in the fire.

The model’s parents previously blamed an electrical issue as the cause of the flames, which broke out as Cara was working in London.

They previously told the publication: ‘She had everything in her house, her whole life. She built it, she made it.’

Aerial photos of the star’s sprawling home showed the property’s collapsed roof, exposing the ash-covered interior following the fire in March.

Cara initially took to Instagram to reveal the news, writing: ‘My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in a blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.’

Alongside a video of fire trucks and emergency service workers who had come to her aid, she commended everyone for stepping into action so quickly.

‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help,’ she added.

She also confirmed that her beloved cats had been saved from the inferno, thanking firefighters who attended the blaze.

Nearly 100 firefighters arrived to her home in 13 different engines to tackle the dramatic blaze which spread through to the attic, causing the roof to cave in.

It is not known who had been injured but it was reported that the person staying at Cara’s residence was treated for smoke inhalation.

Cara bought her 8,000-square-foot mansion for just under $10m in 2019, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Speaking about what home meant to her, she told The Architectural Digest: ‘My work requires me to put on many different hats and costumes. I love slipping into these various characters, so I wanted my home to reflect lots of different themes and moods.’
