‘My jaw dropped’ cry Sainsbury’s shoppers as they race to bag ‘cutest PJs ever’ before they sell out

SHOPPERS have been left in a frenzy trying to get their hands on the “cutest PJs ever” – and they’re already sold out online.

Sainsbury’s have been inundated with website orders for their summery pink cowgirl pyjamas this week.

The dreamy sleepwear, available in sizes 8-24, is covered in prints of cowboy boots and hats, horseshoes and cacti.

Tu Clothing bosses say: “For a nightwear look you’ll love this season, our pink Cowgirl print pyjamas are just the set!

“Fresh from our latest nightwear collection, they come in a traditional style, with a pyjama shirt and a pair of bottoms to match.”

And with the PJs completely sold out online, fashion fans have been racing to their nearest store to get their hands on the set.

Clips of delighted shoppers bagging the £20 buy have also been going viral on social media.

One fashionista said: “I honestly think the designer of Sainsburys pj’s lately is someone I want to be friends with.”

“The cutest pjs ever”, gushed a second.

A third wrote: “Sainsburys pj section is UNMATCHED. So lucky I found them in store today hidden behind some others, they’re sold out online I think.”

A fourth added: “My jaw dropped!!!!!”

And a fifth screamed: “Sainsbury’s ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Give the person in charge of your nightwear designs a big raise.”

Others, however, have been left gutted as they’ve struggled to find the viral pyjamas in stock, as someone cried: “Can’t find them anyyyywhere.”

“I’d love these but they’re sold out”, echoed another.

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Went to both the stores near me this afternoon and they were nowhere to be found. Hoping they magically appear tomorrow.”

And some social media users have a theory about why the pyjamas are proving so popular, with the print bearing a striking resemblance to the cover of a new viral ‘BookTok’ book series by auther Elsie Silver.

“They were [on the website] yesterday but I think the TikTok girlies sold them out, I bought mine in store”, one person revealed.

“These literally look like the cover of Wild Love by Elsie Silver”, someone else gushed.

A third echoed: “They are the spits of Wild Love Elsie Silver’s front cover omg!!!!”

While a fourth chimed in: “Awww the way I ran to the website. Need me some Elsie Silver inspo pyjamas.”

While you’re in store you should also check out the denim section because one fashion fan believes they’ve found their dream jeans.

And perhaps the best part of all? They cost just £20.

The high-street store’s ‘Mid Denim Wide Leg Jeans‘ are a super flattering yet comfy option and come in a stylish mid blue wash, which is ideal for teaming with graphic tees ready for spring.

Delighted with their purchase, the happy shopper rushed online and raved: “I struggle to buy jeans that fit in the waist but these fit perfectly!

“The size in waist is great, and the leg length is good. Very comfortable jeans and they look smart.”
