Actors are often criticised for boring red carpet looks as yet another black suit gets sported by the Hollywood elite — but not Ryan Gosling.

The Barbie star’s looks have been much discussed recently, with fans questioning his fuller face in recent months.

Distracting from his features, Ryan shocked attendees at the premiere of The Fall Guy as he transformed into cartoon character Beavis from Beavis and Butt-head.

Thankfully for Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt, the Drive icon had originally turned up in a mint green suit to take pictures with her before his unconventional second look.

His 90s inspired look was completed by comedian Mikey Day, 44, who dressed as Butt-head, both in full prosthetic makeup.

The pair even gave Emily, 41, a faux interview while in character as she tried to stifle her laughter at her co-star’s unhinged antics.

Ryan was unmissable as he wore a platinum blonde wig, fake nose and signature blue Death Rock T-shirt and black shorts.

Meanwhile, his partner-in-crime recreated Butt-head’s look with black T-shirt emblazoned with the word Skull and red shorts, braces, and facial prosthetics.

Fans on X couldn’t believe their eyes as they praised the duo for their sense of humour and called for a live action Beavis and Butt-head.

‘What is even happening? 😭😭,’ tweeted fan account andgosling in response to another fan sharing a video and simply saying ‘help’.

‘He is so unserious. I love it,’ wrote Kendra as Jamie Lynn added: ‘Ryan Gosling just keeps getting better and better.’

‘This is going to turn into a live action movie,’ shared Sam Carter as numerous others said they were waiting for a live action announcement.

Ryan and Mikey first debuted as live action versions of the popular American cartoon for a Saturday Night Live sketch which went viral with over 13million YouTube views in two weeks.

In the original SNL sketch, which aired last month, the duo appeared as the characters while cast member Heidi Gardner played a news anchor grilling a professor, played by Kenan Thompson, on the dangers of artificial intelligence.

Kenan’s character was unable to focus because two audience members kept distracting him with their uncanny resemblance to the cartoon characters.

The sketch has been hailed as one of the best every from the show with Ryan and Mikey unable to contain their own giggles.

Beavis and Butt-head, which first aired in 1994, featured two socially awkward, rock/metal-loving teenage delinquents, Beavis and Butt-head. The duo would judge music videos, reality TV and the internet in their unique style.

Ryan’s new movie is a far cry from this awkward cartoon as he plays stuntman Colt who must find the missing star of his ex-girlfriend’s blockbuster debut.

The Devil Wears Prada icon plays love interest and director ex Jody while Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the allusive missing in action Tom Ryder.

Hannah Waddingham, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke also star in the action packed comedy which spotlights the hard work of stunt performers.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan joked: ‘Obviously this a love letter to the stunt community, they are the hardest-working people in show business.

They risk more than anyone. This movie is just a giant campaign to get stunts an Oscar.’

The Fall Guy is released in UK cinemas on May 2.
