TV weatherman Rob Marciano has reportedly been fired over behavioural misconduct.

The Good Morning America meteorologist was taken off air two years ago for anger management issues, it’s been claimed.

It’s said he was ‘banned’ for the studio after an incident with a female colleague, with claims he made multiple colleagues ‘feel uncomfortable’.

Marciano, 56, has been appearing on the ABC News programme and World News Tonight for more than a decade, but he’s now been fired, sources say.

Sources told The New York Post he was fired on Tuesday for ‘anger management issues’.

His last report was days ago on April 28, and he has yet to speak out about the claims.

He has however been reposting ABC News content on his Instagram stories as recently as yesterday.

In March 2023, it was claimed Marciano was ‘punished’, with sources telling Page Six: ‘He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return.’

While it’s unclear what transpired between Marciano and the unnamed colleague, another source said there were ‘a number of alarming events’ and that he ‘made people feel uncomfortable’.

An insider continued: ‘There were times when [Marciano] was very cranky and angry … unsavoury behavior on his part.

‘He was pulled off to deal with it and he’s been back.’

It’s said he had been dealing with anger management issues while going through a divorce from his wife Eryn, who he shares two children with and was married to for 11 years.

The journalist previously appeared on CNN Worldwide and on Entertainment Tonight, before moving to ABC in 2014.

In September, Marciano shared a lengthy post to Instagram celebrating a decade with ABC News.

He wrote: ‘This month marks the start of my 10th year with ABC News, and I couldn’t be more pumped to continue this journey with all of you.

‘I always dreamed of working for this network as a kid, and my children are equally psyched that I will now be home most weekends!

‘I’ll continue doing what I’m doing, contributing across all ABC shows and platforms Mon-Fri, while getting more quality time with my kiddos on the weekends 🙂

‘My thanks to the bosses who listened and made this work-life balance possible.

‘I’m also grateful for an exciting new project with NatGeo that has me exploring some very very cool stuff… more to come!’

ABC News declined to comment, Metro.co.uk has also approached Rob Marciano’s reps for comment.
