Chris Pine found himself in the running for the ‘best Chris’ in Hollywood, and he has all but cemented that status with his iconic fashions and his ‘natural weirdo’ looks.

The 43-year-old may have been in the spotlight for decades thanks to roles in Wonder Woman, Star Trek and The Princess Diaries 2, but he has raised eyebrows with his joyful outfits of late, gaining a lot of attention.

Just yesterday, he looked carefree and fantastic in New York while sporting string vest with a colourful red and orange jacket, paired a pair of royal blue high waisted trousers and cream woven loafers.

He unveiled a healthy grey beard on the stroll, which further complimented his chilled-out look.

This was yet another stylish outfit from the Don’t Worry Darling star which caught the eyes of fans, who have been consistent in praising his confident wardrobe.

Comparing Pine to some of the other famous Chrises in Hollywood such as Pratt, Evans, and Hemsworth, some have now declared that he is officially the ‘best Chris’.

‘Reminder that Chris Pine is the best Chris and also I love him,’ said Atlmeagsnow.

Cinematiccurtis also praised the actor’s recent look: ‘Never let them steal your spark, Chris Pine! Be the weird little guy you were born to be!’

Anne_theriaul added: ‘I love Chris Pine, he is such a natural weirdo. I don’t know if his vibe is theatre kid or coastal Californian or what, but we should just get him do his thing.

‘He is happy, he is thriving, he is hydrated and in his lane, he is enjoying life and we are all just along for the ride.’

Pine didn’t always dress in such a confident and colourful way, and recently admitted that he has come to a point in life where he no longer cares about other people’s opinions.

‘I think there comes a certain wonderful point in your life,’ he told E! Online, ‘where you don’t give as much of a f**k anymore, and I think I probably hit that point.’

Fans started to notice Pine’s style transformation in 2022 – with the Hollywood favourite himself picking up on the reaction.

KDean1010 famously took to Twitter at the time to praise: ‘I heard that Chris Pine is entering his middle aged lesbian aunt phase. Or wine aunt.

‘I’m completely down with that. He’s adorable.’

When once asked if he had a favourite meme of himself, Pine proved that he was on board with the remark as he joked: ‘The non-binary lesbian aunt thing, I love that stuff.’

The actor hinted in the interview with E! that his change in style may have been influenced by his upcoming movie, Poolman, which marks his directorial debut.

As well as directing, he is in the lead role alongside Annette Bening, Danny DeVito and Juliet Mills.

‘This whole film, what I love about what we did is, it’s the joy of everything, of design, of clothes, of cinema, of film, of shooting on film, of characters and weird characters,’ he added to E! Online.

‘So, I tried to throw all the joy I could into it.’

The Poolman is released in cinemas on May 10.
