Tiffany Haddish has opened up on an ‘awkward’ encounter she had with Hollywood heartthrob Henry Cavill that completely destroyed her crush on him.

With roles in Superman, The Witcher, and Enola Holmes, Henry, 40, regularly has fans lusting after him – maybe less so with his mental hairdo in Argylle.

However, 44-year-old actress Tiffany claims her crush on the star completely disappeared after she met him.

Recalling the absolutely brutal memory, The Girls Trip star revealed that she has sworn off dating other celebrities, even ones she thinks are ‘so hot.’

She cited the Man of Steel star as an example, claiming her raging crush on the actor disappeared after she met him proving once and for all you should never meet your heroes.

‘All the famous guys I used to think, “Oh, I would love to do it to him,” I know them now and I’m like, “No,”‘ she told The Los Angeles Times.

‘I used to really want Henry Cavill. I think he’s so hot. But I met him and he was so awkward. It was like, “This would be weird. I should be talking to him about Dungeons & Dragons. Maybe he’d be more comfortable.”‘

However, Tiffany acknowledged that perhaps her incessant questions made him feel uneasy.

‘Or, maybe he’s just never had a Black woman be like, “What’s up? What’s your credit score? Do you like spaghetti? I’ll cook for you. Are you afraid of South Central (Los Angeles) or not?” But he’s still beautiful,’ she jokingly added.

It’s not the first time she’s turned down a Hollywood megastar with Tiffany previously claiming she would never date Brad Pitt as he has ‘too many kids.’

The comedian was previously in a relationship with rapper and actor Common for two years until they split in 2021.

Common, 52, claimed they both decided to call it quits after struggling to spend time together due to their busy work schedules.

However, Tiffany cast doubt on that version of events and said she was ultimately ‘disappointed’ with her ex.

‘He might be the type of person that never really settles with somebody, maybe he’s like, you know, like a bee going from flower to flower to flower,’ she told Jason Lee on Fox Soul’s Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored.

‘I don’t know. I wish him nothing but joy and happiness, you know. He will always be cool.’

She is now single and using the dating app Bumble instead of the celebrity dating site Raya.

Cavill and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso are currently expecting their first child, and Common is now in a relationship with Jennifer Hudson.
