Television’s most controversial reality show is coming to the West End – with its cast set to appear fully naked on the theatre stage.

The hit Channel 4 reality TV show Naked Attraction is to be adapted into a live version.

Hosted by Anna Richardson, the raunchy dating show sees single men and women pick out potential partners from a fully nude line-up – one body part at a time.

If the contestants like what they see, then this will hopefully lead to a date, where they can test whether their initial instincts were correct.

After eight years on air, the show’s next iteration has been revealed, with host Anna, 53, suggesting that its cast may bare all, live on stage.

‘We are talking about doing a live show of Naked Attraction that would be in a theatre. Imagine Naked Attraction live and interactive,’ she teased.

‘Magic Mike has done it… Naked Attraction can do it. It would be interactive, it would be live and it would be fun. Watch this space,’ she told The Daily Star.

‘If we can make it happen then we will, but I think it’s a fabulous idea.’

Revealing plans for the show to The Sun, Anna also hinted that she would like to remain involved as the show’s host, should the show make it to the West End.

Anna has hosted the Channel 4 show since its first episode in 2016. She has continued to do so for 12 series, including its most recent outing this year.

In the show, one fully clothed contestant is faced with six naked people, hidden behind a series of booths.

As their faces and bodies are revealed – from the feet up – the chooser picks one potential suitor to eliminate.

During the final round, the chooser then takes off their own clothes, taking their final pick out on a fully clothed date.

Given its steamy premise, Naked Attraction has not been without controversy and was bombarded with complaints to Ofcom over the full-frontal nudity featured in every episode.

However, the broadcasting standards company chose not to investigate, deeming the nudity non-sexual, and containing nothing that breached the rules for a dating show.

Last year, the show made its debut in the USA. American audiences were left speechless as they tuned in to British TV’s raunchiest export. ‘Y’all Naked Attraction is on Max now. Been watching nuts and butts for two hours!’ wrote one shocked viewer.

The show is also notable for its inclusive line-up, taking in bodies of all shapes, sizes and ages – and not restricting its participants to one single choice either, with one group of 2023 hopefuls ending the show by forming their own ‘throuple.’

The most recent series saw 70-year-old Sandra take part in the show – in doing so, was branded the ‘most savage’ contestant ever.

Hippie Sandra took her pick of two men – John and Paul – choosing the latter after a lengthy deliberation process.

However, she shocked viewers by spurning John on their ensuing date – branding him ‘too forward’ after he asked to hold her hand, and then contacting Paul afterwards.

‘He listens more, and he’s certainly not forward… although we did have a kiss’ Sandra said, after bringing Paul along to her reunion with John.

‘It remains to be seen whether the best man has won,’ an unfazed John joked.
