Katie Price could be at serious risk of losing her £2million Mucky Mansion, an expert has claimed.
Earlier this month, the model said that she was ‘not mentally strong enough’ to attend bankruptcy court hearings.
The 45-year-old addressed skipping the appearances on a recent podcast interview, emphasising: ‘I am taking my bankruptcy so serious,’ and clarifying her recent holiday with her boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, was because she needed a ‘break’.
In February this year, it was reported that Katie owed a six-figure sum to HMRC, which was said to have been accumulated through unpaid tax, VAT, and late payment fees.
According to an expert, her Mucky Mansion – which she set about on a project refurbishing for a Channel 4 TV programme after it fell into disrepair – could facing the possibility of repossession.
Joshua Harris, Bankruptcy Trustee at Harris & Partners, emphasised the ‘severe realities of bankruptcy’.

‘Price faces the risk of losing her £2 million property, which highlights the severe realities of bankruptcy,’ he told The Sun.
‘In situations of substantial debt, asset repossession is a real threat, used by creditors to recover what they are owed.’
He continued: ‘Not settling financial duties can lead to severe outcomes, including the loss of valuable assets and further financial hardship.’

Last month, it was claimed that Katie was planning on selling her Mucky Mansion so that she could purchase her ‘dream home’ hundreds of miles away.
According to The Sun, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star’s plan was to move to Yorkshire, with her boyfriend – former Married At First Sight star JJ – also leaving his home in Essex to move in.
‘Katie is sick of the Mucky Mansion and sees no future there now,’ a source told The Sun.
‘She wants to move into her dream home and she reckons this could be it.’
They added: ‘Quite how it would work given her financial problems is a mystery, but she’s got it in her head this is happening.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Katie Price’s representatives for comment.
Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion is available to watch on Channel 4.
