A Selling the O.C. star has revealed she’s sold the most-expensive house to ever feature on the Netflix show.
A spin-off of Selling Sunset, this reality series follows the agents working at the Oppenheim Group’s Orange County office in California.
On the last season, Kayla Cardona faced an uphill battle when securing and then trying to sell a property in the pricey Corona Del Mar neighbourhood which the owner’s were determined to sell for $28,000,000 (£22 million).
Her fellow agents regularly questioned whether she would be able to deliver results on the listing, which was the most expensive property ever taken on by the brokerage.
In the season 3 premiere, which was released this week, Kayla hosted a broker’s preview for the residence, which spans more than 9,000 square feet and boasts 50 feet of private beachfront as well offering shared ownership of a 250-foot yacht dock.
However, she’s now confirmed that she was able to find a buyer for the property, which includes five-bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

‘It was obviously the biggest listing I’ve had, and there were a lot of ups and downs,’ she told Netflix’s Tudum.
‘We bent over backwards for a lot of things, but it turned out to be great. We sold it in the 11th hour.
‘It was a quick close for $25 million (£19 million), so I’m very thankful.’

With a significant commission now in her pocket, Kayla said she used it to ‘catch up’ on her taxes and undertake some travel but put most of it back into her business.
‘I have a lot of great things [going on] now. I’m still of course doing my real estate, and I’ve been picking up a lot of momentum.
‘I’m now a certified life coach. I brought back my podcast. I’ve been speaking on stages. I’m just giving back to the community, and it’s been very fulfilling.’
Although Kayla has now cemented her place as one of the most successful agents at the O Group, it was recently revealed that her colleague Sean Palmieri had left.
In a statement shared with Entertainment Tonight, he said the brokerage ‘was not a culture fit for me’ and he had moved on to another business.
It came after other members of the team took aim at the agent during a tense exchange this season, with Gio Helou claiming Sean was ‘in trouble’ and that ‘his business was suffering’, as others spoke about how he had ‘never sold anything’.
Not taking the criticism, he took aim at former co-star out Tyler Stanaland, fuming: ‘It would be really nice if I had daddy hand me all my listings.’
Selling the O.C. is streaming on Netflix.
