Susanna Reid has made her feelings clear about Kim Kardashian’s attention-grabbing Met Gala 2024 outfit.
The Skims Founder’s fans were shocked after she appeared to ‘have no waist’ in an artisanal Maison Margiela corset and cardigan by John Galliano at the star-studded bash.
Susanna, 53, was also baffled by the 43-year-old’s outfit choice as footage emerged of her struggling to walk up the stairs of the Met Museum as the dress was constrictive.
The broadcaster branded the look ‘uncomfortable’ and said it ‘was not working’ as Kim needed people to help her walk on today’s Good Morning Britain as she and co-host Ed Ball shared their verdict on the event.
Discussing The Kardashians star’s entry, Ed, 57, remarked: ‘It doesn’t look very comfortable does it?’
‘No,’ Susanna agreed. ‘And I think at one point Kim Kardashian found it hard to climb up the stairs because of the outfit she was wearing.’

Searching for a reason for her painful-looking outfit, Ed offered: ‘Good photo?’
As images of Kim hobbling up the stairs aired, Susanna commented: ‘These aren’t great pics though, are they?
‘When you have to have somebody to lift up your dress as you climb up a few steps, I’m not sure that the dress is working.’
Addressing Ed, Susanna continued: ‘But, you’re right, as long as the photograph looks great, who cares if it’s not practical?’

Ed then asked Susanna if it was worth sacrificing an enjoyable evening for ‘a moment of photo magic.’
Susanna replied: ‘I don’t think I’ve had a miserable evening and a great photograph.
‘I think you’d want to have a good evening and a great photograph.’
It is not the first time Kim has worn a waist-shrinking dress at the Met Gala after her 2019 Theirry Mugler look.
The mother-of-four later revealed she asked famous French couturier Mister Pearl for advice on how to breathe in her corset as it was so tight.

Social media was once again whipped into a frenzy after Kim’s 2024 Met Gala outfit.
Taking to X, user stephthesaint wrote: ‘omg kim where’s ur waist??’
‘Kim said waist where????’, wrote thehoodhewchie.
Others branded her waist ‘crazy’ and joked that she ‘left her waist at home’.
Despite appearances from Hollywood’s elite, including Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez and Sydney Sweeney, a random salmon fishing tycoon was declared the winner of the night on social media.

Norwegian billionaire Gustav Magnar Witzøe, 31, looked regal in a nude, diamond-studded bodysuit complete with a huge peach-pink cape and floral headdress.
As @Izze1122 said on X: ‘Idk who this man is, all I know is he is now the standard for all men, if you’re not dressed like this don’t even approach me #MetGala.’
Agreeing, @AceisRad added: ‘His bejeweled abs are killing me though.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
