Sophie Hinchliffe has shared the sad news her father has died suddenly.

The influencer, known as Mrs Hinch, said that Alan’s passing on April 25 was ‘peaceful’ but had led to ‘deep unimaginable pain’ for her.

’25th April 2024. My precious Dad 💔 passed suddenly but so peacefully whilst he slept,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down.

‘A deep unimaginable pain I cannot put into words.’

Sophie’s dad had a workshop in her garden where he made his daughter special items for her home and she’s vowed to keep it going.

‘My loving Dad, Our boys beloved Grandad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going.

‘Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight Dad. My absolute king. Your Bubberloo.’

Sophie, 34, then shared a quote about grief to describe how she was feeling.

‘Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go,’ it read.

Alan was a proud grandad to her children Ronnie and Lennie. Sophie honoured her dad with her second son’s name, choosing to give him Alan as one of his two middle names, his second is James, after her husband.

‘My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart.
