Lucien Laviscount has shared his hopes for more action roles in the future, throwing his name in the ring to play James Bond.
All eyes have been on who will be taking over the role of the super spy after Daniel Craig officially bowed out, following the release of No Time To Die.
A string of huge names have since been linked to the franchise, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Taron Egerton, Regé-Jean Page and Idris Elba.
Fresh off a stunning cameo in Shakira’s new music video, the 31-year-old revealed his thoughts on all things 007 in a new interview, swiftly volunteering himself for the part.
‘I think, at some point, to play James Bond would be the ultimate,’ he told Us Weekly. ‘I’d love to dive into more action roles.
‘We shot a movie last year that was one fight sequence after another, with explosions going off left and right. I absolutely loved it.’

Before he starts ordering his martinis shaken, not stirred, Lucien will be back on our screens for the fourth season of Emily in Paris – the first part is set to premiere on August 15.
The Waterloo Road favorite played the suave Alfie in the second and third seasons of the hit Netflix series, alongside Lily Collins and Ashley Park.
It’s not looking particularly rosy for his character as, in a teaser video, he described the upcoming episodes as ‘chaotic’ and ‘heartbreaking’.
We’re not sure that things could get more ‘chaotic’ for the gang after we left them in 2022 – with Emily breaking things off with Alfie for good, and coming clean about her feelings for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).
Before they could ride off into the sunset together, the chef dropped a bombshell of his own when he revealed that his ex-fiancée, Camille (Camille Razat), is pregnant.

Shedding light on what we can expect from the new series, Lily declared in a recent video: ‘It’s safe to say we ended on a dramatic note last season, and surprise! It does not end there.
‘What I can tell is we have more fun, more fashion and, of course, more drama in store for you all.
‘Emily is going to have to decide if everything she’s ever wanted is really what she needs, and while Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don’t be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday.’
The official synopsis reads: ‘After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling.

‘She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed.
‘At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty.
‘Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of.’
Emily in Paris season four premieres on August 15, 2024.
