MOVE over Mango and Zara, as fashionistas have found the perfect summer skirt in their local supermarket.

Perfect for work or play, this fashion find is a ‘must have’ – especially as you can find it in the aisles for less than £20.

If you have yet to do your weekly shop, you might also want to keep an eye out for this skirt

If you are looking to revamp your summer wardrobe, you might want to visit your local supermarket.

Gone are the days of trawling through the high street, as fashionistas can find summer dresses and co-ords alongside their food shop.

Not only are they affordable, but brands like Tesco even has collections designed by celebs – with Kate Ferdinand and Zara McDermott both releasing ranges of sportswear.

Though we can’t get enough of the athleisure wear, another item has caught the eye of the Fabulous team.

Now trending on TikTok, the supermarket has released a striped skirt with a gorgeous monochromatic pattern.

Unlike other skirts on the high street though, these stripes are printed at an angle, giving the illusion that they have been draped over your curves.

The bodycon skirt also has a slightly flared hem and is made from a satin-style fabric, which will flatter your curves even more.

It’s not just us who are obsessed with this Tesco find though, as the skirt is already trending on TikTok with influencers dedicating entire videos to it.

After spotting the gorgeous skirt in the supermarket, fashionista Keelie couldn’t wait to show it off in a now-viral video.

Styling the bodycon skirt with a matching black waistcoat and strappy heels, she showed just how easily it could be dressed up.

Alternatively, you could pair this fashion find with a black jumper for a classic work look or a plain black for a chic off-duty style.

In the caption, she urged shoppers to buy the skirt before it disappeared from the supermarket’s shelves.

She wrote: “RUN TO TESCO, for this BEAUTIFUL satin stripe skirt – feels [like] such good quality & was only £16.”

As the video racked up over 195,200 views, her fans were similarly obsessed with the skirt.

“WOW, absolutely stunning,” gushed one, with another adding: “You look amazing.”

A third was already desperate to get to the supermarket, saying: “This is a need.”

Others had already managed to buy the skirt during their weekly shop and raved about it in the comments.

“Oooo I know I bought this a few weeks ago it’s stunning,” revealed a fourth.

With so much hype around the skirt and it’s low prices, you’ll have to nab it on your next grocery shop to avoid disappointment.

If you are planning a trip to Tesco, we also recommend you check out their stunning co-ords – which have also been going viral on TikTok.

Sounds like the perfect excuse for a shopping trip to us.

Hottest trends for Spring/Summer 2024

Fabulous’ Fashion Editor, Clemmie Fieldsend has shared the biggest trends on the high street and runway this Spring/Summer.

SHORTS
I know, shorts for summer. Groundbreaking. But you’ll be seeing them everywhere this year, from micro hotpants to long, Bermuda styles in denim to tailoring and everything in between they’re a must have for every occasion.
WHITE
White usually goes hand-in-hand with your summer holidays but whether you’re in the UK or abroad you’ll be seeing an abundance of head-to-toe white looks.
The high street is already a, erm, white wash with the trend that includes shoes and accessories.
HIGH SHINE
Beit metallics or sequins, for 2024 sparkle isn’t just for Christmas.Expect to see shimmering looks at festivals, weddings or even a barbeque in your neighbours back garden teamed with block brights or simple whites.
BAGGY BOTTOMS
Wide leg and loose jeans have gripped our wardrobes from autumn to winter, but as we move into warmer months expect baggy trousers. From crisp cotton to lightweight linen, fluid trews should have a firm place in your wardrobe.
PUMPS
Ballet pumps and Mary Jane’s have been clawing their way back into our good books for a while now, but for summer they’re looking less ballerina and more beach ready.
Woven styles and mesh textures are hot off the catwalk and onto the high street, think the 2024 jelly shoe.
GO GIRLY
All things romantic and girly are in for spring with sheer fabrics, pastel shades of blue, yellow and pink gripping the runway. Embellished with bows, lace or flowers, most looks should have an element of being hyper ‘girly’.
