“All I have to say is Rita, Rita Ora – this thing flopped from £20 to £2,” she said in a video on her TikTok page.

Picking up another black top, Nissy added: “This is from £14 down to £7.”

“Rita, come and collect your things then, from Primark.

“It flopped!”

She added in writing over the top: “POV, your agent sold you a dream.”

“Mhmmmm, not everything is for everyone,” Nissy captioned her video.

People in the comments were quick to weigh in, with one writing: “I need to understand who Rita Ora’s fans are?

“I have never met a single person that likes her. I don’t get it!”

“Ngl I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since the collection dropped,” another added.

“She was trying to sell coats for like £70?? in primark??”

“I work at Primark and I never have to restock her stuff cause nobody’s buying it!” a third commented.

But others were quick to defend Rita and her Primark collection.

“Those collections had the best quality from Primark,” one wrote.

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.

They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
They “do very little advertising”
While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

“Don’t sleep on it!”

“Lemme go buy it now,” another insisted.

“Nahhh that collection are,” a third gushed.

“Loved it!”

“That seems unnecessarily unkind,” someone else raged.

“Rita ora has some good things tbh,” another commented.

“The collection wasnt great. I still bought a dress and boots though,” someone else said.

The newest – Spring/Summer 2024 – range was Rita’s third collection for the store.

Speaking about the range, Rita said: “I’m so excited to launch the next stage of my journey with Primark.

“This time, we’re ready for Spring, with pieces that are fun and floral, including casual and dressy options perfect for day-to-night looks or a special occasion.

“This collection is designed to be worn again and again and really reflect the season.

“Denim has been a been a style staple throughout our collections, and it’s always been a personal favourite of mine.

“I love the playful floral prints we’ve added this time around, and I can’t wait to see how these pieces will inspire chic, new looks.”

The collection was co-designed by Rita and Primark and 60 per cent of it was made from “recycled or more sustainable materials”.
