Chris Pine’s fashion has been drawing attention recently as he continues to rock casual yet stylish looks — including his pyjamas.
His press tour for directorial debut Poolman, which stars Ariana DeBose and Danny DeVito, has been filled with weird and wonderful outfits.
Pushing the fashion boundaries, the Dungeons and Dragons star appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a silky blue bathrobe over the top of his pjs.
This was not your ordinary bedtime outfit though as he co-ordinated with the robe in an aquamarine pyjama top and a matching set of rather short shorts.
His tanned and toned legs gave way to his signature brown woven loafers as he walked behind the scenes of the talk show set.
The 43-year-old may have been in the spotlight for decades thanks to roles in Wonder Woman and Star Trek but his recent style evolution has been something to behold.

He’s been rocking a more intentionally unkempt look with long hair and a healthy amount of beard, showcasing his newfound status as a silver fox.
Fans have described his style of late as ‘lesbian auntie chic’ as he cut about New York in colourful silk shirts, woven loafers, and bright trousers.
The Don’t Worry Darling star has become a lot of people’s ‘favourite Chris’, playfully pitted against the trifecta of Chrises; Hemsworth, Evans, and Pratt.
Pine didn’t always dress in such a confident and colourful way, and recently admitted that he has come to a point in life where he no longer cares about other people’s opinions.
‘I think there comes a certain wonderful point in your life,’ he told E! Online, ‘where you don’t give as much of a f**k anymore, and I think I probably hit that point.’
Since 2022 there’s been a huge evolution in his style but starring and directing in his new film appears to have free him from the shackles of suits and ties.

For the Poolman, Chris stars as Darren who is (unsurprisingly) a pool man for an apartment complex with a philosophical streak.
Danny, 79, appears as Darren’s neighbour alongside Annette Bening, of American Beauty fame.
The film hasn’t met stellar reviews but Chris said he’s happy with the film he’s created as it’s ‘forced [him] to double down on joy.’
He told host Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast: ‘Yes, there’s the hurt of the cut, there’s the hurt of the moment, but as the scar tissue forms, as the healing process happens, you do benefit from the growth and resilience in sitting in your being of what you’re trying to say.
‘After the reviews in Toronto I was like, maybe I did just make a pile of s**t. So I went back and watched it, and I was like, I f**king love this film.’
Poolman will be available on Prime Video in the UK from June 7, 2024.
