The performer, 30, was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 as part of the boy band Loveable Rogues before going on to work as a radio presenter.

Earlier this year Sonny and Danielle announced they were expecting their first child, who has now arrived safely.

‘Omg. Congratulations gorgeous! Enjoy every second of that perfect baby bubble,’ Perrie Edwards wrote.

‘Why am I crying! I’m so happy for you both,’ Sian Welby added.

Soon after Sonny also explained how he was feeling ‘overwhelmed’.

‘Overwhelmed to say the least,’ he posted on Instagram.

‘We’re at home and enjoying our little baby bubble. It’s been the best.

‘Danielle has been incredible and my love has grown for her even more. I cannot wait to share this journey with you all. I feel so content right now.’
