Nina Dobrev has been rushed to hospital with multiple injuries after an apparent motorbike accident.

The Vampire Diaries actress shared photos from her hospital bed, as she was hooked up to IVs and machines, seemingly after crashing on her bike.

Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old posted two very different snaps – in the first, she could be seen proudly posing on the bike in an empty, sundrenched street, with the second showing her lying in a hospital bed, revealing a brace around her neck and leg.

Alongside the post, she simply wrote: ‘How it started vs how it’s going.’

Nina gave no further details about what exactly happened to land herself in hospital, but penned an update on her Instagram story, insisting that she is doing fine.

‘I’m okay but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,’ she added.

Right on cue, fans and famous friends rushed to the comments section to share their support and hopes for a speedy recovery.

Julianne Hough was among them, penning: ‘That’s my girl! Obviously wouldn’t make jokes if you were not ok…’

Ashley Greene replied: ‘Always going big… Heal fast.’

Brittvanbijlen urged: ‘Hope you’re gonna be okay soon. Take care of yourself!’

Lauragpaynee added: ‘Hope you feel better soon neens (please stay inside).’

As many more joked that she needed to remember that she’s ‘not a vampire anymore’.

Nina has barely stopped in the last few months, as she has been busy making sure that boyfriend Shaun White hits all the items on his bucket list.

The former professional snowboarder and skateboarder turned his back on the adrenaline-filled career in 2022, having won an incredible three Olympic gold medals.

After hanging up his board for good, he has been focusing on getting through a list of things he wanted to achieve – with Nina by his side.

‘It’s been really fun having time together,’ he recently told Us Weekly. ‘Normally I’m off competing and she’s shooting a project or something … but now we’ve got some time together.’

‘We went to Antarctica, Dubai, visited her mom in France, went to Monaco, went to Indonesia.

‘I want to be around for Thanksgiving, I want to be around for Christmas, I want to be around for people’s birthdays, holidays.

‘It’s like those little things you kind of push aside when you’re completely focused on the task at hand, which was competing.’
