Boyzone star Keith Duffy baffled fans as he hung out with a Hollywood icon, with many wondering – was it actually real?
Bruce Springsteen performed his final show in Ireland this week, ending with a star-studded concert at Croke Park in Dublin.
The final gig was sold out and attracted 80,000 fans – including a mix of famous faces eager to see the iconic performance.
Boyzone and Boyzlife star Duffy, 49, rubbed shoulders with the A-listers at the mega gig for the Boss, and ever so casually shared a snap from the night with Fight Club star and Oscar-winning actor, Brad Pitt.
Pitt, 60, smiled and posed with Duffy for the close-up photo, later posted on the No Matter What singer’s Instagram.
However, it was the achingly nonchalant caption on the picture that left fans baffled, and wondering if Duffy had actually hung out with Brad Pitt at all. Was it even Brad, or a lookalike?

‘What an unforgettable night with these lads at Croke Park watching the legendary Bruce Springsteen. The Boss still knows how to rock a stadium!’ Duffy wrote alongside the collection of pictures.
The fact the Irish singer didn’t even refer to Pitt – apart from the brief hashtag #bradpitt – had fans scratching their heads, and many were surprised by this unusual pairing, joking that this combo was most certainly not on their ‘bingo cards’ for the year.
‘We need clarification here is pic 1 Brad Pitt??!!!’ @lou77flc begged in the comments, clearly confused.

This was a sentiment felt by fans across the board, with several comments asking if that actually was the Hollywood icon or not.
Others genuinely believed it wasn’t actually him, and just a lookalike, with @fraghead71 writing that they ‘thought it was Brad Pitt lol’.
Actually, it was Brad Pitt, as many other fans realised.
@Pistacio84 remarked on the post, teasing the Boyzone star for his lack of enthusiasm: ‘Sorry Keith…I would have been more excited about meeting Brad Pitt 😂😂.’
@Ljgolightly added: ‘Never had Keith Duffy and Brad Pitt photo on my 2024 bingo card! Class.’
‘Omfg Keith hanging with Brad Pitt at a Springsteen concert oh my days. Bet that was an awesome night ❤️,’ Lorrainewilson7874 said.

Rugby stars Andy Farrell and Leo Cullen were also spotted at this concert.
The pair weren’t the only celebrities to make an appearance at this gig as Nick Jonas and American actor Paul Rudd also made an appearance as they are currently in Dublin filming their upcoming movie, Power Ballad.
Netflix star, Luis Guzmán was also seen at this concert, the actor who plays Gomez Addams in Wednesday is thought to also be filming in Ireland.
