Bridgerton season 3 has stunned and delighted fans who are eager to jump back into the Regency period drama.

Fans are obsessed with this season that’s all about Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington’s (Nicola Coughlan) blossoming relationship that’s been a slow burn for the past two seasons.

As the story has developed fans have been left with their jaws on the floor because of the steamy nature of some of these downright scandalous scenes.

Bridgerton’s carriage scene was a particular highlight for many viewers as Colin and Pen finally admitted their feelings for one another and got frisky in the back of a carriage.

Fans were also delighted when an erotic Bridgerton fan theory about the ‘carriage scene’ was confirmed and viewers learned that the decision for Colin to fix Penelope’s dress with just one finger was ‘all Luke Newton!’

However, if you found that raunchy, you haven’t seen anything yet. Bridgerton season 3 part 2 is gearing up for what might be one of the most erotic scenes the series has seen to date…

A teaser has dropped hints about the upcoming second part of the series, and it looks like one of the most beloved parts of the book is set to be brought to life on the screen.

In the images released by Netflix are various pictures of the characters Penelope and Colin looking into mirrors.

Could this just be an innocent promo image symbolising reflection or seeing themselves clearly?

Absolutely not.

Fans are certain that the creators are hinting at an upcoming sex scene between Colin and Penelope that’s famed among fans of the book.

In Romancing Mr Bridgerton, the Julia Quinn book that inspired the third season, there’s a steamy sex scene that involves a mirror.

In the book, just before Penelope and Colin have sex for the first time, Colin tells Penelope that he wants to get freaky in front of a mirror so he can appreciate her assets.

Colin tells her in the novel: ‘I want to see you sitting up…so I can see them full and lovely and large.

‘And then I want to crawl behind you and cup you…And I want to do it in front of a mirror.’

Fans are certain that these comments from Colin and the pretty lusty sex scene afterwards will take place in the second part of the series because of all the hints dropped by Netflix.

@mar_lena5, said on X formerly known as Twitter: ‘They keep mentioning or showing mirrors, part 2 is gonna serve #BRIDGERTON’

Another fan, @AriannaS_Hall complained about how long they have to wait for the series: ‘I’m actually going to fight whoever decided to make me wait a month for Bridgerton season 3 part 2. GIVE. ME. MIRROR. SCENE. NEOW.’

However, others are pleased they have to wait for this raunchy scene. ‘I’m grateful that they decided to split this season into two parts because I don’t think I can handle carriage and mirror scene in one sitting,’ said @NICOCACOLUKE.

Of course, we will have to wait for the second part of season three to find out what will happen next for Colin and Penelope and if this scene will be included!

Bridgerton season 3 part 2 is set to be released on June 13 on Netflix.
