Kate Beckinsale appeared to issue a warning to an unnamed abuser on Instagram, stating that their ‘time is coming’.
Days after a shocking video emerged of rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016, the Underworld actress shared a very cryptic post on social media, vowing that people ‘can’t get away with abuse forever’.
Taking to her Instagram story, she re-posted an upload from PhilanthropyGal over the musician’s recent apology, which read: ‘I don’t know who needs to hear this but can’t beat the s**t out of your girlfriend and then just apologize [sic].’
Adding her own note beside the post, the 50-year-old – who sparked concern over her health following a hospital visit – penned: ‘Nor can you get away with abuse forever.
‘You know who you are sunshine. Your time is coming.’
Beckinsale did not share the name of who she was directing her warning to, or share further details about what the post concerned.

Her story comes hours after Combs was hit with another abuse lawsuit – stemming from an alleged incident in New York in 2003.
Former model Crystal McKinney alleged that he forced her to perform a sex act on him after allegedly promising her a career boost.
In her filing, obtained by multiple outlets, she claimed that they met at a 2003 Men’s Fashion Week event, where he invited her back to his music studio.
McKinney, aged 22 at the time, said the businessman and several of his entourage were drinking and smoking cannabis at the studio – she smoked with them and described the weed as ‘very powerful’.

Sky News reports that she ‘later came to understand’ that the joint may have been laced with another drug.
Combs then allegedly demanded for McKinney to follow him into the bathroom, where he forced himself on her, kissing her and shoving her head to his crotch – before ordering her to perform a sex act.
According to the documents, he pushed her head down again when she refused, and forced her into the act.
McKinney – who is seeking undisclosed damages – alleged that she later lost consciousness and woke up in a taxi, where she realized she had been sexually assaulted.

She claimed that she was then blacklisted from the modeling industry, and attempted suicide in 2004, amid fears she ‘sabotaged her own career’.
Combs has yet to respond to the latest allegations.
Over the weekend, he issued a groveling apology to Ventura after footage of his 2016 attack against her was made public last week – months after she filed a lawsuit.
‘I was f***ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom. But I make no excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,’ he said.

‘I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I’m disgusted now.
‘I went and I sought professional help, started going to therapy, I’ve been going to rehab. I had to ask God for His mercy and grace.
‘I’m so sorry. But, I’ve committed to being a better man, each and every day.’
‘I’m not asking for forgiveness, I’m truly sorry.’
