A reliable leaker has posted a placeholder logo for Persona 6, which might be closer to release than expected.
Atlus may have released both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica over the past six months, but it seems the next mainline instalment could also be on the horizon.
While Persona 6 has not been officially announced yet, it’s a certainty following the success of Persona 5 – which has received countless spin-offs since it launched in 2016, including the expanded remaster Persona 5 Royal.
We might hear more about the sequel soon though, as more information has seemingly leaked, via known Atlus insider Midori.
The leaker shared what they claim is a placeholder logo for Persona 6, clarifying that it isn’t the final logo. It suggests the colour theme will be green though, which Midori previously said would be the case back in April.
Previous titles in the series have all been based around a specific colour, with Persona 5’s being red, Persona 4’s yellow, and Persona 3 adopting blue.
While the logo doesn’t exactly reveal much, Midori said it’s designed to be ‘on the edge of yin and yang’, which can be seen in the way the ‘P’ is intertwined with the ‘6’.
Midori claims Persona 6, believed to be codenamed XRD768, ‘entered full production before the Persona titles that were currently released’ – which is presumably referring to Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica, which both started development in 2019.
If true, this suggests Persona 6 has been in the works for a long time and could be announced soon, which makes sense as Persona 5 originally came out eight years ago now.
Midori also claims Persona 6, Persona 3 Reload, and rumoured remakes of past entries, will be released on Nintendo’s next console – which is expected to launch before April 2025. As most of the recent Persona games have come to the Switch, this sounds believable too.

Aside from a rumour which suggests a return to a high school setting, little is known about Persona 6. Previous rumours claimed the sequel could come out next year, along with a mobile version of Persona 5 named Persona 5X.
The announcement of any new Persona title, however, might be held back until after developer Studio Zero’s next game, Metaphor: ReFantazio, which is due to be released in October.
