Celebrity chef and father-of-five Jamie Oliver has joked that he’ll have ‘the operation’ to stop himself from having more children.
The Naked Chef star, 49, appeared on the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, reflecting on his career, family and personal achievements.
As they talked, Jamie hinted that there are no more children in the pipeline for himself and wife Jools, 49.
The pair share five children already – the imaginatively named Poppy Honey Rose, 23; Daisy Boo Pamela, 22; Petal Blossom Rainbow, 16; Buddy Bear Maurice, 13; and River Rocket Blue, seven.
Speaking about his upcoming 50th with host Chris Moyles and co-presenter Dominic Byrne, Jamie revealed his plan to ‘rinse’ the event with several parties – a period of reflection for the celebrity chef.
‘But I’ve got so many people to thank for the everything, you know. Obviously since the conception – mum and dad. You know, I’ve just been so lucky to work with lovely people. And I think it’s a nice moment, everything stills works. I can still function,’ he said.
‘Well we know that – you’ve got 12 kids,’ joked host Chris Moyles.

‘Still functioning, Jamie,’ added Dominic.
’Yeah, I think I probably need that operation!’ Jamie joked. ‘But yeah, no. It’s a good time, but in my head I’m still in my twenties.’
’I don’t think that changes,’ Chris replied.
’Mate, I’m now the oldest parent in River’s lot. And like, I can’t age them. So you’re sitting there talking to a parent, and then the references aren’t quite keying in, and you’re like, “Dude, how old are you?” He’s like, “32,”‘ Jamie added.

Jamie and former model and writer Juliette ‘Jools’ Norton married in 2000, with the first of their brood following in March 2002.
Since then, the pair have been busy, with their other four children born in 2003, 2009, 2010 and 2016, respectively.
In 2019, the family moved into the 16th Century estate Spains Hall together. Located in Finchingfield, Essex, this £6million mansion also includes a six-bedroom farmhouse, three-bedroom lodge and swimming pool.

The chef’s most recent project saw Jamie attempt to teach the world how to make the most of air fryers – a device that over 12m UK households are now estimated to own.
Jamie Oliver Air Fryer Meals saw the star create a curry fusion roast in the gadget; going on to bake a meringue, further showcasing its versatility.
However, the show also cooked up an unexpected storm – with many viewers complaining about the influx of shows about air fryers.
‘This is what happens when Phil from marketing asks a focus group and ChatCPT to come up with a cooking show,’ joked user @CorkGourmetGuy on X.
