TV’s golden couple Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have split after 14 years of marriage.
Together, 64-year-old Eamonn and Ruth, also 64, fronted This Morning before they were replaced as the regular Friday presenters by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in November 2020.
The husband and wife duo continued to present This Morning, but were moved to a school holidays and bank holiday slot until December 2021, when the couple announced their departure.
They had both been a regular fixture on the show for 15 years.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2010, share son Jack, 22, while Eamonn also has sons Declan, 35, Niall, 31, and daughter Rebecca, 33, from his previous marriage.
A spokesperson for the former TV stars confirmed the news of their split to Metro.co.uk.

The statement, shared with The Sun, read: ‘Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.’
This comes after sources claimed the pair were preparing an announcement earlier today.
A source told MailOnline: ‘Ruth and her team have been telling their friends to look out for the comments, which they are planning to put on social media.
‘It’s a very sorry tale. They are both so loved by the British public, they won over so many people on This Morning which they hosted for more than a decade.
‘They were as close to Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan as you could get.’
Just a few days ago Loose Women star Ruth was reported discussing Eamonn’s health struggles in an interview, saying it’s ‘testing’ but they ‘manage as a family’.
The GB News presenter is recovering from surgery and an injury to his shoulder, and has been seen using a walking crutch since 2021 after he slipped three discs in his back.
She said: ‘I don’t know how much Eamonn’s mobility will improve. We live in hope.
‘He does the physio, but there might have to be some acceptance that this might never be 100% right.
‘With any care situation – and there are millions of carers in this country – it isn’t always easy. It’s testing but we manage as a family.’
She added to Woman’s Weekly: ‘I look at Eamonn, who’s had his health and back problems, and it makes you realise how important your health is.’
