Dame Helen Mirren looked stunning in an unearthed photo shoot with a punk twist from 1998.

In the picture taken by celebrity photographer Rankin, the 78-year-old, who is biting her thumb, wore a vivid orange jacket.

The Oscar-winning actress matched her colourful attire with a spikey cropped hair ‘do with a copper tint.

The image of Dame Helen was the front cover of Dazed And Confused magazine in the 90s and is being showcased in a new exhibition.

The exhibition features the publication’s famous covers between 1991 and 2001, offering a time capsule of UK creativity in the 1990s.

Dame Helen is used to stealing the show with glamourous looks – and recently walked the runway at the L’Oreal Walk Your Worth launch show in Paris.

The show, which took place under the Eiffel Tower as part of Paris Fashion Week, aimed to inspire ‘all women to unapologetically show up in the world and walk towards their destiny in confidence,’ according to the beauty brand.

The Queen actress joined the likes of Elle Fanning and Kendall Jenner – and looked like an absolute goddess as she strutted her stuff on the catwalk.

She also won the Cannes Film Festival last year when she rocked up with bright blue hair, making one hell of an arrival on the red carpet.

The plot follows four friends living in a retirement home in Kent as they join together to solve murders for fun only to get swept up in a real case.

Thursday Murder Club is set to be directed by Chris Columbus, the iconic visionary behind Harry PotterMrs Doubtfire, and Home Alone.

And if there wasn’t enough star power already, Amblin Entertainment — Steven Spielberg’s production house — are making it.
