Eamonn Holmes publicly addresses divorce from Ruth Langsford for first time live on GB News-Josie Copson-Entertainment – Metro

Eamonn Holmes has returned to his day job on GB News and addressed his split from Ruth Langsford.

While presenting the channel’s breakfast show, Eamonn, 64, thanked viewers for their support following the divorce announcement.

‘I’d just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation,’ he began.

‘Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.’

The anchor then quickly moved on and continued with the news of the day, withco-host Isabel Webster by his side.

Ruth, 64, is yet to discuss their split and it is currently unknown when her next appearance on ITV’s Loose Women will happen.

A spokesperson for Eamonn and Ruth confirmed ‘they are in the process of divorcing,’ on May 25 after 14 years of marriage.
