In her post, Reddit user Joyfulnoodle showed off her budget-friendly thrifting purchase.

The little black dress featured a bodycon fit and long mesh sleeves.

Originally drawn to the style, the Redditor was shocked to see a certain detail on the label.

While most of the tags had been cut off, the shopper noticed one that read Tadashi.

She shared her shock at finding the high-end item at such a low price at her local thrift store.

“God bless whoever cut the tag out of this Tadashi dress,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

She revealed that she “scored it from Goodwill for $6.”

The poster included photos of her modeling the chic look as well as a close-up of the label.

“I nearly screamed when I Googled how much Tadashi dresses normally go for,” she said.

Similar dresses from the Tadashi brand retail for $600.

While the fashion shopper was not expecting such an impressive find, she did explain that cut-off labels always draw her attention.

“Whenever I see something with a tag cut out I always make sure to give it a second glance in case it’s anything good,” she shared.

“The thrift store gods were kind to me today.”

Her fellow Reddit users shared their thoughts on the dress in the comments section.

“OMG, what a find! It looks gorgeous on you too!!! Hoping to find something good at the thrift store soon,” wrote one impressed reader.

“What a wonderful find! It looks absolutely amazing on you, and a little black dress can be worn to many different events or functions,” commented a third social media user.

“You definitely scored for $6, it was probably meant to say $60 knowing Goodwill.”

“I’m so pleased for you! What a find. I hope you have a party to attend!” said another person.

Others shared their envy over the budget-friendly designer purchase.

“Wow, it looks like it was made for you! I’m totally jealous, I hope you enjoy it!” wrote one reader.
