Katie Price is trading her infamous ‘Mucky Mansion’ for a new four-bedroom pad in Sussex, despite her ongoing financial woes.

The former glamour model, 46, was spotted moving out on Tuesday, transitioning to a spacious home that boasts a double garage and open-plan kitchen.

However, the £4,995 monthly rent on the property has left fans puzzled and questioning how she can afford such an expense given her double bankruptcy.

One fan, @dubailisa, wrote on X: ‘What a joke how can she afford this.’

While @flopsypickle agreed: ‘I thought Katie Price was broke?’

The mucky mansion property has made headlines since Katie moved in, most recently when she was allegedly handed an eviction notice amid her second bankruptcy.

The move was necessitated after Katie faced an acid attack on her Pink Range Rover, prompting authorities to advise her to leave her home.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday (May 26), the reality star shared a video of her pink Range Rover doused in acid.

She shared images of the damage done to her car and expressed relief at moving out of the Mucky Mansion, which she purchased in 2014 from Tory peer Francis Maude.

This isn’t the first time the house has been targeted by vandals, as she’s also had her fences graffitied in the past.

An insider revealed to The Sun that Katie had been dreading the move but is now relieved to leave behind a property that has brought her nothing but grief.

The house, branded the ‘Mucky Mansion’ due to its dilapidated state, has been a source of stress and bad memories for Katie.

Despite her financial troubles, Katie is optimistic about her fresh start. On Thursday, she denied rumors of moving into a caravan and announced she would soon collect the keys to her new home.

Katie also emphasised that her new house will feature on her YouTube channel once she settles in.

She added in quotes from The Sun: ‘I tell you why, nine years of hell I’ve had there.

‘Fly-tipping, it’s haunted… and I am living with it. And whoever buys that house, good luck! I hate it.’

Katie’s financial woes have been well-documented, with her first bankruptcy declared in 2019 and a second in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

Despite these setbacks, she clearly remains hopeful and excited about her new beginnings, looking forward to a brighter future for herself and her children.

Katie, who is currently in a relationship with Married At First Sight UK contestant JJ Slater, 30, is a mother to Harvey Price, 21, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from her marriage to Peter Andre, and Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, from her relationship with Kieran Hayler.
