Netflix viewers are begging the streamer to produce a second season of an ‘absolutely perfect’ new show.

If you’re a dinosaur kid at heart, then this one is definitely for you.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory follows the earlier spin-off Camp Cretaceous, and fans are even more obsessed.

The ten-part animated series is set years after the original, and sees the survivors of the Jurassic World ‘incident’ that left them battling survival for a year, The Nublar Six, take on their next adventure as they’re warned against being hunted.

The thriller sees the survivors uncover a deadly conspiracy that could threaten both dinosaurs and humankind, as they discover what happened to one of their group who was thought to be dead.

Chaos Theory is set after 2018 film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in which the dinosaurs are free to roam Earth.

In the week since its release, Chaos Theory has managed to secure a top ten spot in the UK, and has reached number six in the global list of Netflix’s most-watched TV shows.

It’s beaten by all three series’ of Bridgerton, Baby Reindeer and true crime documentary Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies and Scandal.

Chaos Theory has also reached 15,000,000 viewing hours with 3,800,000 views, and fans are begging for more.

‘Release the next season already,’ Namael begged on X, while Bensolo wrote: ‘Can’t complain with this series. It’s absolutely PERFECT.’

On Rotten Tomatoes, the series has scored a 100% average Tomatometer and an impressive 93% average audience score.

Matt wrote: ‘I was thrown into obsession when watching this! I was already invested in these characters, and they made me glued to the TV until the end. I need more.

‘They did such a good job with the character development from the previous series into this one, and they continue to grow and remain fresh. Very impressed with the writing/story… and of course… the raptor lady?! OBSESSED.’

‘The show was good and visuals are perfect . Hope the next season will be more better than before,’ Qasim added, while another anonymous reviewer said: ‘Watched it with zero breaks, and it was worth the wait.’

Chaos Theory is available to watch on Netflix.
