Another series of the best comedy show on TV has come to an end, and the Taskmaster winner has been crowned.
In a tense and side-clutching series, we’ve chortled at the efforts of the wonderful Joanne McNally, Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed, acting icon Steve Pemberton, comedian John Robins, and Alma’s Not Normal’s Sophie Willan, as they battled it out via some seriously wild tasks.
The contestants joined Greg Davies and Alex Horne for the Channel 4 show’s 17th season, which began in March.
Now the winner has been crowned, as John Robins walked away with the bust of Greg trophy.
Nick came last with 131 points, Sophie finished fourth, Steve was third, and Joanne the runner-up.
Sophie had never won an episode until the final one of the series. In celebration she twerked, but her dress flung a little too far up in a hilarious farewell moment from the season.

Fans took to social media mourning the end of another season of the beloved series.
‘I’m gonna miss seeing Sophie on my screen every week,’ wrote @ashplstfu, while @losinggteeth added: ‘Can’t believe we won’t get nick and steve team tasks anymore.’
Others took to Reddit to discuss this series as it drew to a close, with many showering it with praise for having such a ‘nice’ panel.
‘I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s lower energy due to everyone being very nice in the studio, but lots of very funny moments throughout,’ said SillyMattFace.
I went into this series not knowing any of them, which always makes me a bit nervous, but each one has such a fun personality, and I love how they’ve all been ganging up on poppet when talking about his presents. There are a lot of little gems in the series,’ added memypassportandi.

Effective_Teach_747 added: ‘It’s not one I’d rank particularly highly in the grand scheme of the show, but I’ve really enjoyed it! I expected John to be my favourite as he was the one I was most familiar with, but Nick has totally won my heart and Joanne is so cool.’
The final comes after it was announced Taskmaster: The Live Experience will be launching in the autumn, giving fans a chance to take part in the series.
The ballot will be drawn from 10am on June 18, with general sale from June 21. Fans will be automatically entered into the ballot if they sign up before.
Taskmaster is available to stream on Channel 4
