Twitch streamer and Tyler1 is making an AI advisorbased on his persona to help you in League Of Legends – but fans aren’t completely sold.
The video games industry’s fascination with Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been clear for some time now, with the latest development being Microsoft’s AI advisor in Minecraft.
AI is also being implemented to livestreaming, where popular content creator Amouranth has created an AI bot that will be your girlfriend for a fee.
Now, top League Of Legends streamer Tyler1 has launched an AI advisory bot that will help you while you play. The bot has his voice and persona, and is as lewd and toxic as the streamer himself.
A reveal video on Twitter shows how the AI bot of Tyler1 works by giving advice to players in real time. It also shows that you can ask the AI advisor a question and it will give you a solution.
One example is when someone asks the companion bot, ‘Hey Tyler, what should I build?’ to which the AI advisor replies in Tyler1’s typically boisterous manner: ‘F*** it! Greedy start with Long Sword. We’re rushing Kraken Slayer.’

During a recent stream Tyler1 enabled the bot in front of his fans. Soon, the AI companion revealed a toxic side when it complained about a teammate.
Another clip shows how unhinged the AI can be in its early development phase, when it made a very rude joke about nuns.
Fan’s reactions to the bot are mixed. While some are excited to play alongside Tyler1’s AI bot others think it won’t take off.
‘Wait, please don’t tell me his AI is just ChatGPT with a slight Tyler1 personality on it… it’s going to go so wrong if that’s all it is,’ says PiccolosPickles on Reddit.

The AI companion, called Backseat AI by Tyler1, doesn’t have a release date yet, but there’s already a waiting list for the product and the basic version of the AI bot will seemingly be free.
The aim is also to add other content creators to voice the AI advisor in the future, but there are no specific names attached to the project yet.
A helpful but rude AI companion is not for everyone, as League Of Legends can be stressful enough, but there are no doubt Tyler1 fans out there that will get a kick out of it.
