After a week of rowdy semi-finals, we have our Britain’s Got Talent 2024 finalists.
The past five nights have seen all kinds of weird and wonderful acts take to the stage in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, all hoping to secure a place in Sunday’s grand final and inch closer to winning.
Alas, there wasn’t room for everyone.
Friday night’s live semi-final added two more to the bill, completing the final and promising a proper spectacle this weekend, with the competition tight.
Comedian Alex Mitchell and magician Trixy join the other successful performers, beating fellow semi-finalists Gambino Akuboy, AmaSing, Denise and Stefan, Messoudi Brothers, The Dark Hero and CyberAgent Legit.
Singing and pianist duo Denise and Stefan did find themselves in the top three, however, only Bruno voted to put them through, with the other judges siding with Trixy.

Free from that agonising wait, however, was teacher Alex, who won tonight’s semi with the most public votes, sending him straight through.
The final now also consists of: Abigail & Afronita, Northants Sings Out, Jack Rhodes, Haribow, Innocent Masuku, Ssaulabi Performance Troupe, Mike Woodhams, and Sydnie Christmas.
There will be a wildcard act who failed to make it through earlier this week as well. Their identity will be revealed live on Sunday night after the judges’ deliberations.
All 11 acts will be praying they can do enough to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner, comedy clown Viggo Venn.
One lucky act will take home a life-changing £250,000 cash prize, plus a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
The Britain’s Got Talent final airs Sunday on ITV1 and ITVX.
