Britain’s Got Talent viewers aren’t happy with Amanda Holden.

Viewers of the ITV talent show have called the judge out for ‘creepy’ and inappropriate comments about semi-finalists, the Messoudi Brothers.

Amanda, 53, sits on the BGT panel alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, with the latter joining her in fawning over the duo.

The Messoudi brothers are part of a string of Got Talent performers who travel the world appearing in the multiple versions of the series, showcasing their juggling skills – but with a twist.

Their amazing act gets many viewers hot under the collar, as the brothers undress and swap clothes during their rapid routines.

It’s all very impressive, with the pair having become known as the ‘sexy jugglers.’

Following their semi-final performance on Friday night, the siblings were left in Union Jack print underpants, later covering up with dressing gowns.

After being asked for his thoughts, Bruno struggled to string a sentence together.

Gasping for breath, he said with a deep voice: ‘Very impressive.’

‘After that reveal, no one is going to talk about the juggling,’ he added suggestively.

The Italian TV star went on to praise their ‘incredible’ performance after they ‘raised their skill so high’ from their first audition.

Alesha then teased that the duo left the audience ‘wanting more’ before Amanda chimed in: ‘I’m just asking on behalf of a friend, if you were in the final, what else would you take off?’

Having stripped down to their pants, the brothers laughed: ‘There’s not much more we can take off, this is a family show.’

‘Well, after 9pm it’s fine!’, Amanda quipped.

Alas, the brothers won’t be in the final, unless they can secure the judges’ wildcard, as comedian Alex Mitchell and magician Trixy were sent through on Friday night.

As the studio audience wolf-whistled, Amanda continued: ‘You were so joyous and so brilliant. There’s always a sense of humour attached to this, which is really important as well, and that self-irony.’

‘I’m gutted you put your dressing gowns back on,’ she concluded.

Reacting to Amanda’s feedback, viewers took to X to shame the star for ‘double standards’.

‘Imagine Amanda was a man and said all that to a female contestant? It’s ok though, it’s allowed when it’s a woman objectifying men’, wrote RantyAlex.

‘I do wonder why it remains okay for Bruno and Amanda to fawn over the topless male jugglers on @BGT and actually ask them what else they will take off… Imagine, for a second, that Simon even hinted that a female singer showed a touch more cleavage – instantly cancelled!’, blasted chriscymraeg.

‘A male judge would never be able to say the things to a female contestant that Amanda was just saying to those 2 guys’, agreed the_corke.

ElloTeenah wondered if she would be ‘reported’ for ‘sexualising’ the brothers, while uksprout actually did complain to Ofcom, branding Amanda’s comments ‘unacceptable.’

Musical theatre performer Amanda is the longest-serving judge on the BGT panel, having joined in 2007 and sat behind the desk with the likes of David Walliams, Michael McIntyre, and David Hasselhoff.

During her time on the show, the mum-of-two has been caught up in her fair share of controversies.

What seems to grab headlines the most, though, are her risqué outfits, with viewers at home actually filing complaints that they are too skimpy for a family programme.

Hitting out in the past, Amanda has made it clear she is totally unbothered by critics of her cleavage-baring ensembles.

In December 2022, Amanda defended her fashion choices, saying: ‘Fashion is about taking risks. I encourage everyone to have a little fun and be a little daring. I’d be bored playing it safe.’

She added that her co-star Alesha, 44, never doesn’t receive the same backlash.

‘Alesha gets away with wearing bikinis, but I don’t seem to. It’s bizarre,’ Amanda said.

‘With shows where there are strong women on a panel, it’s sadly inevitable that they’ll be judged on what they’re wearing.’

Amanda has also previously said that her lookalike daughters, Hollie and Alexa, ‘encourage’ her to look and feel her best and they are far from ashamed.

She’s also frequently seen posing in swimwear on Instagram, showcasing her tone physique.

The Britain’s Got Talent final airs on Sunday on ITV1 and ITVX.
