Through The Keyhole star Loyd Grossman has tied the knot with Melissa Knatchbull.

The 73-year-old presenter and pasta sauce mogul and the 63-year-old Four Weddings And A Funeral star, who is the ex-wife of Earl Mountbatten of Burma’s grandson Michael, have got married seven years after revealing their relationship for the first time.

The loved up couple became husband and wife this week, after getting engaged late last year in the City of Love.

Loyd – who fronted Through The Keyhole from 1987 to 2003 – told the Daily Mail: ‘We are both extremely happy. We got engaged in Paris in November and tied the knot at the Chelsea Register Office.’

In pictures shared by artist Kimberly Duross on Instagram, the couple posed on the steps outside the old town hall and beamed for their guests after the intimate ceremony.

The former MasterChef host – who presented the iconic BBC show for a decade between 1990 and 2000 – wore a simple black suit and blue patterned tie, while his new wife went for a white trouser suit.

As well as his broadcast career, including appearing on Loyd on Location, Behind the Headlines and more, Loyd is known for his beloved pasta sauces, which have earned him a estimated £50 million fortune.

He was previously married to Deborah Puttnam – the daughter of Chariots of Fire producer Lord Puttan – for 19 years until their split in 2004, and they have two daughters together.

He also had a romance with Lady Jane Wellesley, the daughter of the eighth Duke of Wellington, who famously dated King Charles in the early 1970s.

Loyd and Melissa’s romance became public in 2017, after they had been spotted out and about together.

At the time, the couple kept coy about their relationship, and Melissa insisted she prefers to keep her personal life for herself.

‘I make it a policy not to talk about my private life,’ she said when asked about the romance seven years ago.
