Adele started Pride Month in truly sassy style by expertly shutting down a homophobic comment made at one of her shows.
The Hello hitmaker, 36, is continuing her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which runs throughout 2024.
Being Adele, the British star has already provided countless viral moments, including her Morticia Addams Halloween costume and the time a woman had to be escorted from the venue because her ‘boob kept falling out’.
In her latest iconic moment, Adele offered a perfect four-word response to a hateful heckler.
Sitting at the piano and chatting to the crowd, the Grammy winner heard someone yell that ‘Pride sucks’ as the month of Pride kicked off on June 1.
Having none of it, Adele hit out: ‘Did you come to my f***ing show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f***ing stupid?’

‘Don’t be so f***ing ridiculous,’ she blasted.
‘If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?’
Adele proceeded to ask fans if anyone had ‘dragged’ a husband along with them to the show, assuring that she ‘won’t be offended’.
‘Perhaps it’s you, sir,’ she quipped at the heckler.
Adele’s comments sent the venue wild as fans cheered and yelled ‘Period!’
It didn’t take long for the clip to start spreading online, having already been viewed over two million times.
Reacting, fans took to X to express their gratitude for the celebrity ally.
‘if I got told off by Adele, I’d never show my face in public ever again’, wrote beauxarlen.
‘This is why Adele will forever be mother. I love her with my entire soul’, declared Tempest_0216.

DramaturgyAmy praised: ‘This is what allyship looks like’.
‘They got TOLD. Imagine Adele scolding you like this, yikes. Think before you speak’, wrote Hayles_101.
Adele recently returned to the stage after cancelling five weeks of her residency due to illness.
In February, the Someone Like You singer announced she was having to ‘take a beat and pause my Vegas residency’ after completing around 80 shows.
‘I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break,’ she explained, adding she was unable ‘to get back to full health before shows resumed, and now I’m sick again and unfortunately, it’s all taking a toll on my voice.’
She said she was pausing the shows ‘on doctor’s orders,’ with the five remaining weekends being postponed ‘to a later date’, and promising fans they would be sent rescheduling details as soon as possible.
Adele shared the news with the caption: ‘I love you, I’ll miss you like mad and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.’
The cancellation came after Adele got emotional while opening up to an audience at The Colosseum, where she performs two nights a week, about concerns for the strength of her voice.
She shared that she’s been having issues hitting all the notes in her famous tunes, jokingly comparing her voice to the raspy tone of the cartoon villain Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
The beloved star apologised to her fans for possibly being unable to sing at full capacity that evening, remarking that it would be difficult for her to be quiet long enough for her voice to heal.
She said: ‘Ursula from the ocean has come from my chest tonight. I can’t hit my headnotes properly. I didn’t sleep very well and my chest is on fire. I can tell I’m going to have a cough in like 10 days, but I’m still here.’
But she continued: ‘Straight after this show I am going on voice rest. Can you imagine how hard me not talking for three days is? So I’m going to be in bed coughing my guts up on complete voice rest.’
Adele, who is thought to have recently married partner Rich Paul, needs to get her voice in tip-top condition, though, because she’s got a load more shows to play this year.
This August, she will play out in the open-air area in Munich, Germany.
Originally, she was doing four shows but later added more, totalling eight.
The gigs will mark Adele’s first European shows in a hot minute, as she last played two dates in London’s Hyde Park, as part of the park’s British Summer Time gigs, in 2022, which even then marked her first live UK shows since 2017.
