Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Emma Jones has died aged 32 after being diagnosed with cancer.

Jones’ loved ones shared a message on Facebook post to announce her death.

‘I’m sorry to have to tell you that Emma Jones has died. She died on Valentine’s Day after being diagnosed with multiple organ cancer. The doctor thinks it began as ovarian cancer and spread to other organs,’ it read.

The singer appeared on the 2015 series of the ITV show and impressed judges and audience alike with her version of Ave Maria by Andrea Bocelli at her first audition, and progressed to the semi-finals.

All four judges gave Jones, who was just 23 at the time, a standing ovation and heaped praise on her.

David Walliams told her: ‘You should be confident Emma. Very few of us could ever sing like that.’

Amanda Holden described it as ‘beautiful’.
