Nearly two years after winning the first season of The Traitors, Aaron Evans is giving his third reality series a go.

In 2022, the property agent from Portsmouth made it to the end of the BBC series, sharing the £101,500 prize money with Hannah Byczkowski and Meryl Williams.

Earlier this year he was then spotted putting his heart on the line on an episode of First Dates, being matched with student Laura, who had absolutely no clue who he was.

Despite the pair hitting it off, Aaron is still single and has now been revealed as part of the line-up for another dating seriesLove Island USA.

One of 10 Islanders to be heading to Fiji for season six of the show, Aaron will be looking to couple up with one of the ladies and looking to find love.

As explained in his bio for the upcoming season, which starts next week on Peacock in the US, Aaron is a deckhand originally from Marbella, Spain but currently living in the United Kingdom.

The 26-year-old, who also calls himself a Harry Potter nerd, claims he once slept with a stewardess on his first week of working on a yacht and his mother apparently says he’s a ‘feral liability’.

Joining him this season is another recognisable face, Kordell Beckham, the younger brother of NFL star Odell Beckham, who was recently linked to Kim Kardashian.

His signing up for the show came after Aaron said two years ago that he didn’t think he had what it takes to be on Love Island.

He told Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘I don’t know, honestly if anything comes my way I’d be more than happy to.

‘It’s so much fun so I’d definitely do something again. I don’t know about Love Island – I don’t think I’m cut for Love Island!’

He added: ‘But any sort of reality TV show I’d be more than happy for. So we’ll have to see.’

After winning The Traitors, Aaron revealed he gave most of his prize money to his mum.

‘I got to the final and won like £33,000. I ended up giving the money to my mum anyway. Well, I gave her the £33,000, and then asked for three grand back ’cause I was skint,’ he explained.

During his appearance on First Dates, he told Maitre d’ Fred Sirieix about the attention he’d received since being on the BBC series.

‘People will slide into your DMs but it’s all guys,’ he revealed after being told by Fred he looked like a young Brad Pitt.

During his date with Laura, the pair bonded over a shared diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD.

But when someone else in the restaurant came up and asked Aaron for a selfie she was baffled and clearly had no clue who he was.

‘Why the hell is someone taking a selfie with you?. I don’t know what’s going on? I’m being pranked!’

Later in the episode Aaron called his mum and gushed about his date, saying she was ‘unreal but a bit too pretty for me’.

However, he did say they got on well and ‘bounce off each other’, with Laura then revealing they had plans to have another drink together.

She told him: ‘I really like your personality and I love your rings and he’s a good nice guy.’

However, she admitted she had no clue about his previous reality TV stint.

The Traitors is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
