And not one to gatekeep her amazing find, the Edinburgh hairdresser – who owns salon Lady Lux – shared it with fashion fans on TikTok (@stephbarronladylux).
Stephanie said she felt like she was “channelling her inner Bridgerton” in the strapless floral dress.
She later told us: “The dress was a great find and so many people were shocked it was from Shein.”
The Shein Privé spring break floral print dress is available in sizes 6-14.
And even better? It’s currently in the summer sale for just £9.34.
The stunning frock also comes in a blue and orange floral pattern, or white and red – meaning you could bag three stylish dresses for £30.
So it’s unsurprising that Stephanie is not the only one loving the bargain buy, as it has racked up a string of five-star reviews.
One satisfied shopper gushed: “Omg this dress! I wore this to a wedding and everyone loved this. Perfect size for me and amazing material.”
Another wrote: “This dress is just perfect. Love, love, love.”
A third added: “Wow, wow, wow. This is incredible. Bought to wear for a wedding, cannot wait.
“The material, the fit, the everything. I would say my best purchase so far off of Shein.”
A fourth echoed: “My favourite dress. Everything about this dress is amazing.
“The fit, the colours and the length. Definitely a must-have for summer.”
A fifth said: “Most beautiful dress. Super comfortable and had so many compliments.”
Meanwhile, a sixth chimed in: “It’s incredible. I live in this dress.”
If this has inspired you to do an online order, Shein — pronounced She-in — has got you covered for shoes to complete the outfit too.
Fashionista Taylor Rankine insists the online retailer’s footwear is worth the money.
“You might think I’m crazy, but I literally own over 10 pairs of Shein shoes, and they are literally incredible,” she says.
“They’re all like £8-£16.”
What is Shein and is it legit?
Shein is an online-only fast-fashion retailer, based out of China, that has become a number one shopping destination for many around the world.
The company was valued at $66billion in 2023, dwarfing that of popular high street brands Zara and H&M.
The fashion retailer was founded in late 2008, by entrepreneur and marketing specialist Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu.
Shein is a legitimate selling website and is not a phishing scam.
But you may receive a disappointing order or run into shipping issues if you order from the site, according to reviews.
There have been swathes of quality complaints, which makes sense when looking at the price tag.
Taylor goes onto say how she also has boots from Shein, adding that most of her “going out shoes” are in fact from the fast fashion retailer.
“They are really comfortable, and they’re really affordable,” she explains. “And, if you mess them up, get them scuffed, you won’t care about it.
“So 100% Shein shoes are the way to go, guys…I’m not lying, these shoes I’ve also had for over a year.”
