Glastonbury 2024 is nearly upon us and ticket-holders could get an early glimpse at one of the performers before they even arrive at Worthy Farm.
While the line-up has been somewhat controversial this year, with numerous clashes angering fans, the iconic festival has an undeniable buzz surrounding it.
Anyone travelling by train to Glastonbury could witness an unusual performance from rising UK star Nia Archives.
The jungle artist will take over one carriage of the Uber train heading to Castle Cary on Wednesday, June 26, to perform a DJ set at 100mph.
That’s right, keen drum and bass fans will be able to catch the 7am — yes you read that right, 7am — journey from Paddington, London to Glasto.
Fans can enter through the website for a chance to snag a free spot on the carriage (and therefore free travel to Glasto) with winners announced on June 13.

Nia, who is also set to play the West Holts stage on Sunday, said: ‘Buzzin’ to be heading back to my fave place on earth, Glastonbury!!
‘Never thought I’d be DJing in a carriage, but am sooo excited to start the party with ravers on the Uber train.’
Those ravers will be escorted into a VIP area at the iconic London station, with drinks and food provided by Uber Eats before their journey starts.
Getting first-class treatment, luggage will be taken and stored for passengers before they board the highspeed mini festival carriage.
The 24-year-old, real name Dehaney Nia Lishahn Hunt, is at the forefront of the new-gen junglist wave, having released her debut album Silence Is Loud in April.
Speaking of the slightly unhinged collaboration, Andrew Brem, General Manager at Uber UK, said ‘We’re thrilled to be adding some magic to peoples’ journeys to Castle Cary giving them a brilliant kick-start to the UK’s festival-lined summer.

‘With trains on Uber, it’s easier than ever to book your door-to-door travel all in one app.’
Uber launched its train capabilities in 2022 and will offer anyone who doesn’t manage to win tickets to the rave 20% credits back on their trip to Castle Cary this June.
Glastonbury is mere weeks away, with Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and Sza all set to headline and Shania Twain taking the legends slot.
Yesterday the full line-up was revealed with iconic acts like Dexy’s Midnight Runners and indie group James performing.
There’s set to be plenty of nostalgic moments with the likes of The Feeling, Scouting For Girls, Lulu, and Cyndi Lauper performing.
West Holts will play host to dance artists like Nia, Jungle, Jessie Ware, and Justice as well as Sugababes.
It’s set to be a muddy one though so don’t forget your waterproofs as you rush to the station to catch Nia’s first class gig.
For a chance to see Nia Archives perform, visit Uber’s competition website. Winners will be revealed on June 13.
