Jared Leto was totally unaware he was in the presence of an X Factor icon when one half of Jedward crashed his show.
On Tuesday night, 30 Seconds to Mars performed at the O2 in London on the latest stop of their Seasons tour.
Although Jared and the band were the stars of the show, they unexpectedly had another singing sensation join them.
During the rendition of their 2018 song Rescue Me, the band invited members of the audience onto the stage, where they all sang along together.
However, one of them was a star in his own right, with one of the Grimes brothers stepping up.
Siblings John and Edward, collectively known as Jedward, are identical twins who appeared on The X Factor in 2009.

They then went on to represent Ireland at Eurovision in both 2011 and 2012.
In footage taken at the 30 Seconds to Mars show, Jared was seen picking the singer out of the audience.
Once up on stage, Jared asked him where he was from, to which he responded: ‘Ireland!’
Although some members of the crowd cottoned on to who he was, Jared continued on chatting to his other fans.
‘Was not expecting to see half of Jedward on stage with 30 Seconds to Mars,’ one concertgoer posted on social media alongside a snap of the moment.

‘Can’t believe I went to see thirty seconds to mars tonight and also got to see jedward on stage with em, defo didn’t have that on my 2024 bingo card,’ another shared.
Their interaction was even more awkward due to the fact Jared admitted to being a massive Jedward fan in the past.
In 2010 he said: ‘One of the pleasures of Twitter is that someone introduced me to Jedward.”
Around the same time, they were all snapped together at the EMA’s, where he and the band happily posed for pictures with the duo.
