The Euro 2024 game mode has finally launched in EA Sports FC 24, and it features authentic stadiums and lots of different game modes.

EA might not have the licensing rights to add the World Cup to its games anymore, after its partnership with FIFA ended over a $1 billion dispute between the two, but that isn’t stopping it from featuring the European Championship as usual.

EA Sports FC 24 has just released the UEFA Euro 2024 game mode ahead of this summer’s tournament, with the all the official teams, kits and stadiums.

The update is completely free to download, for every version of EA Sports FC 24, and yet it comes with an impressive amount of content.

How do you get the Euro 2024 mode for EA Sports FC 24?

The Euro 2024 game mode is live now and is available to download across Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

It’s a part of the Festival Of Football update, and gives fans the opportunity to take charge of each of the 24 qualified teams.

A Euro tournament mode is set up in the game with nine authentic stadia from host country Germany, and it will let you play through the group stages to the final of the 2024 competition.

The official Euro 2024 ball and trophy are also included, as well as new broadcast packages through the game.

You can play the real tournament’s schedule games via the Match Of The Day mode, or play the contest in full from beginning to end. Naturally, games can also be played online against other players.

What does the Euro 2024 mode add for EA Sports FC 24?

The update will also let you take charge of one specific player or create you own custom player to captain the team of your choosing. You can then decide if you want to control just that one player or the entire team.

There’s also a set of new challenges, called ‘The European Journey,’ where you can complete tasks for rewards. If you complete all of them, the final reward will be unveiled after the tournament ends.

The Festival Of Football update also adds the new Double Touch Lane Change skill move to all modes and a new celebration (Cole Palmer’s cold celebration). The update also comes with 27 new Star Heads, including Rodri and Eberechi Eze.

The Euro 2024 update is a doozy and comes eight days before the real tournament kicks off on Friday, June 14, when Germany will host Scotland.
