Beachwear brand Cupshe made its return to Miami Swim Week with its third annual “‘Naturally You” Runway Show under a Paraiso Swim Week tent on June 2.

Celebrity fans of Cupshe include Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Olivia Culpo, Hilary Duff, Bella Thorne, and Brandi Cyrus.

The event was headlined by Sports Illustrated models, Brooks Nader, Christen Harper, Katie Austin, Cindy Prado, and Joy Corrigan.

The diverse cast of women represented various sizes and backgrounds.

Body positive models Iskra Lawrence and Ella Halikas, bionic model Marsha Elle, and breast cancer survivor and former Victoria’s Secret model Christine Handy also graced the runway.

DESIGN DREAMS

As Cupshe’s spokesperson of the year, Fletcher made a surprise appearance at the show and announced her co-designed collection, Cupshe x JoJo Fletcher: Soul Space.

In a backstage interview with The U.S. Sun, she revealed why she decided to step into the swimwear market years ago and some of her favorite styles.

“When I first did a collab with Cupshe in 2022, it was something I was really excited about. We had great success. People to this day still ask me about a lot of those swimsuits,” she said.

Fletcher said that “swimwear is hard for a lot of people,” and wanted a “little bit of everything” in her swim line so all women felt included.

This line embodies elegance and a nature-focused mindset shown by the flattering silhouettes, vibrant colors, and eye-catching prints.

“To be able to do my own line with Cupshe, to have a lot of versatility, a lot of different colors, patterns, prints, was really exciting for me,” she added.

Although Fletcher felt passionate about every single piece in the collection, there were a few that struck a chord with her.

“I love our Jagger print, named after one of my dogs, but it’s such a chic, elevated print, which I feel like sometimes it’s hard to do, but it looked insane,” she explained.

She called the green Tulum bikini set “stunning” and said the fabric was “gorgeous.”

Cupshe SVP of Design Doreen Brennan felt the same way because she styled the undergarments as outerwear when she wore the top with a white pantsuit during the fashion show.

Fletcher was also a big fan of the gold-tinged Dune fabric, which was a nod to the book series and movie franchise of the same name because it “just glistens in the sun.”

Brennan also spoke to The U.S. Sun about the appeal of the brand.

“I think people are really attracted to Cupshe because we are attainable for everyone,” she said.

“Not only about size, shape, color, but also price point. Everybody can’t afford a $300 swimsuit.”

“I feel like everybody out there was just cheering each other on. It just felt like a really big women empowering women moment, and I just live for that stuff,” said Fletcher.

“I think Cupshe now has grown so much, not like with the products that they’re offering, but definitely in the fit, with the swim,  and our notoriety for who we are and what we believe in,” said Brennan.

“Miami Swim Week 2024 was an incredible success for Cupshe, perfectly showcasing our mission to inspire confidence and celebrate natural beauty in everyone,” said Jessie Han, Senior Marketing Director at Cupshe.

The presentation featured 60 swim and beachwear looks in total, which are now available for purchase on Cupshe.com.
