WWE Clash At The Castle is this weekend as the biggest stars in wrestling take over Glasgow, Scotland.
Almost two years after losing at the inaugural Clash At The Castle event in Cardiff, Drew McIntyre- who held the World Heavyweight Title for just five minutes at WrestleMania – could win the gold in his home nation with Piper Niven, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre also chasing glory.
The former champion is confirmed to be facing current World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the premium live event at the OVO Hydro arena on June 15.
Drew did win the title from Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 early in April, but less than 5 minutes and 30 seconds later, CM Punk left him lying on his back as Priest capitalised by cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase.
The Scottish superstar was ruled out of the King of the Ring tournament due to injury, but he’s been cleared to wrestle again and will get a shot at revenge in Glasgow, four years after winning his first world title in front of no fans during the pandemic.
Here is everything you need to know about next month’s huge show.
When is WWE Clash At The Castle?
WWE Clash At The Castle airs tomorrow (Saturday, July 15), with the premium live event kicking off at 7pm for fans watching in the UK.
How can you watch WWE Clash At The Castle?
The usual Kickoff preview show – which is available to stream via the WWE Network, as well as WWE.com, the WWE app, X, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch – will start two hours before the main show. So, that will be 5pm.
Fans not lucky enough to be there in person will be able to tune into the main Clash At The Castle event either live or on demand via the WWE Network, or by ordering the show on TNT Sports Box Office.
Of course, that will change in the New Year with WWE’s content set to move to Netflix in January 2025 as part of a huge $5 billion deal.

WWE Clash At The Castle predictions

Drew McIntyre HAS to become World Heavyweight Champion in Glasgow, no doubt about it.
September will mark two years since he came up short during Roman Reigns’ historic world title run, but there is no such logistical obstacle in the Scottish Warrior’s path this time.
He deserves this moment in front of a hometown crown, especially after his WrestleMania win turned sour thanks to the Money In The Bank cash-in.

That disappointment with Damian Priest was justified though, setting the stage for this chance at an emotional victory with his family in the front row.
Then, there is the not-insignificant matter of CM Punk waiting in the wings, and he could always be the one to spoil McIntyre’s moment once more if he decides to get involved in Scotland.
Elsewhere on the show, McIntyre’s fellow Scottish wrestler Piper Niven will take her own shot at glory, after her match against Bayley was confirmed on the May 31 episode of SmackDown.

While it’s likely Bayley retains – along with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill – the other two title matches aren’t as clear cut as people may think.
AJ Styles could find a way to get Cody Rhodes to say ‘I Quit’, adding a bump in the road (no pun intended) for the American Nightmare, even if it seems certain his reign will conitnue.
As for Chad Gable and Sami Zayn, there are a lot of possibilities with the loyalties of Otis, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa, making it another match that could go either way.
