The fashionista took to TikTok (@sammyjooliver) and posted a snap of the new built-in bra vest top hanging on the shelves of her local branch.

Available in a range of colours include white, beige, green and coral, Sammy addresses her social media followers and urges: “Run don’t walk to Tesco!

“With 25% off they are £7.50 – that’s cheaper than Primark!”

Alongside the clip, she penned: “@F&F Clothing have built in bra vest tops!

Reasons to shop supermarket fashion

When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there’s no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg…

They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.
It’s affordable – For basics  to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.
They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.
They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.

The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 71.5k views and several comments from fashion fans up and down the country.

“If anyone tries it with GG let me know how you get on please,” pleaded one.

A second quipped: “Lol, if only my boobs were in the right position without a bra to be covered! I’d need that padding a good few inches nearer my waist!!”

And Tesco isn’t the only store to sell built-in bra vests, with Primark also sending fashion fans into a meltdown over their version of the convenient summer top.

The bargain high-street store shared the new range on its Instagram and TikTok accounts.

In the clip, a model can be seen demonstrating exactly how the vest works by firstly showing it with a white bra underneath, and then without a bra because the top had secret padded cups sewn inside.

Alongside the post, the caption read: “Say goodbye to visible bra straps and hello to this cropped racer vest with a built-in bra. Now only £8/€10/$12 #Primark.”

Elsewhere, another fashion fan named Kym branded New Look’s in-built bra vest top the “best summer buy this year” after hitting her local store.

She picked up the top, which is available in a size 6 to a size 22, in white and also in black – and while they’re usually £14.99 each, they’re currently on offer for just £13.49.

The online product description reads: “Basic but not, the built-in bra makes our stretchy racer vest a practical addition to your everyday wardrobe.”
