‘Never too early to think about Christmas’ insist shoppers as they snap up matching festive pyjamas for £6 in huge sale

SUMMER has barely begun, but excited shoppers are already talking about the C word – Christmas.

The festive season may be exactly six months away, but some sale clothing items have caught the eye of savvy parents.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, mum Melissa said: “Never too early to think about Christmas.

“Lots of cheap Christmas pyjamas on Studio, lots of sizes available.”

For mums and teen daughters, the pyjamas are reduced from £39.99 to £7.99 and come in sizes 8-26.

The menswear options for dads and older boys are also in the sale for £7.99 and are available in S-XL.

Meanwhile, kids unisex option was originally priced at £29.99 but now cost just £5.99 and can be snapped up in sizes 1yr-15yrs.

And they’re available in a range of designs – from reindeers or Santa to snowmen and snowflakes.

Online retailer Studio is part of the Frasers Group and sells clothes, electronics, furniture, homeware and gifts.

Describing their festive PJs, Studio bosses say: “These pyjamas come in a variety of sizes, making it easy to find the perfect fit for every member of your family.

“Whether you’re snuggled up by the fireplace or opening presents on Christmas morning, our Family Christmas Pyjamas will make your holiday season even more special.”

And it looks like parents are already racing to snap up sets to stash away for Christmas.

One mum confessed: “I bought these about 3 months ago haha … they are great quality and fit perfect.”

Someone else wrote: “Let’s get in early.”

A third added: “They cute, and cheap lol.”

A fourth said: “Best time to buy your pjs imo.”

A fifth echoed: “Perfect time to get your matching pjs.”

Meanwhile, a sixth revealed: “Received mine yesterday – fab quality!”

And it’s not the first time Christmas has been on people’s lips in recent weeks.

We told recently how shoppers were left open-mouthed after spotting Home Bargains getting in to the festive spirit early.

Posting on Instagram, the bargain store shard a photo of their Christmas offerings which included everything from festive signs, bows and baubles to tree decorations.

The caption read: “Since Summer isn’t happening this year. Can we start to get excited about Christmas?”

The snap revealed a selection of cheap festive items, including Merry Christmas signs for £3.99 and packs of mini baubles for just £1.99.

Also on offer were front door bows which were priced from £2.99 and 99p Christmas tree decorations.

But while it wasn’t made clear whether the festive aisle has actually returned to stores, festive goodies still remain out of stock on their website.

And meet the woman who already has her Christmas tree up in June – she doesn’t care that people say she’s “wasting half the year”.
