Stacey Solomon has praised her son Zachary as ‘the best thing that ever happened to me’ before sending him off to a milestone event.
The presenter, 34, gave birth to Zachary when she was 18, and has since welcomed four more children.
However, this week Stacey shared a sweet post in honour of her son as he headed to prom.
‘My baby just went to prom. 😭 I don’t think I’ve ever felt this way. My Zachary, has finished his GCSEs, left school, started his first job and is off to his prom,’ she posted on Instagram.
‘Zach you are the best thing that ever happened to me. We’ve grown up together. I just can not believe how that time has flown by.
‘Go and have the best night ever. You deserve it my darling. I’ll be on standby for the after party pick up 😂🤦🏼♀️ To the moon and back Zachary. 🖤’

Stacey also shared a series of photos alongside the post, including some where her teenage son towered over her as they embraced in the back garden of their Essex home, Pickle Cottage.
Zachary looked dapper in a three-piece blue suit, which he paired with sneakers, with another shot showing him slightly taller than step-dad Joe Swash, who also commented on the post: ‘Where has the time gone.’
Stacey is mother to Zachary, 16, from her relationship with former boyfriend Dean Cox, a second son Leighton, 12, fathered by her ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.
She also has Rex, five, daughter Rose, two, and Belle, one, with her former EastEnders actor Joe, whom she started dating in 2016 after they met during the tenth season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2010.

After appearing on The X Factor in 2009, Stacey went on to win I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! the following year.
In 2016 she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and has since gone on to present Sort Your Life Out and Bake Off: The Professionals, while also being one of the stars of Celebrity Gogglebox.
However earlier this year she said her ‘ultimate goal’ was to become a stay-at-home mum to be able to spend more time with her children.
Zachary was just 15 months old when a 19-year-old Stacey auditioned for the sixth season of The X Factor, going on to finish in third place.

In January Stacey teased she was open to having more kids.
During an Instagram Q&A, she was asked: ‘Are you finished with having babies or would you like more.’
Posting a video of her two youngest children Rose and Belle playing with their toys, Stacey admitted she would never rule out the idea, writing: ‘I can honestly say. My favourite thing in the whole wide world is being a mum. I just get so much joy from watching our little ones grow & getting to be a part of their world.
‘I would love more. Whatever will be will be. But omg I love them (Joe will be off to get a vasectomy when he sees this),’ she jokingly added.
