The Abstract Print Satin Maxi Skirt is available in sizes 8 to 20 and costs £20.

It boasts pretty shades of pink, blue, green and cream meaning the opportunities are endless when thinking about accessory colours.

And its elasticated waist and bias cut means it is both comfortable and flattering.

Tu Clothing chiefs say: “Our satin maxi skirt effortlessly elevates your look from day to night.

“A smooth satin sheen brings this style to life in a flattering maxi length.”

Picking it up in a recent haul, plus-sized fashion influencer Sophie said: “The sun and this outfit makes everything better.”

And her fellow fashionistas seem to be in full agreement, as one gushed: “Ohh I got that skirt the other day and yet to wear it, absolutely gorgeous.”

“Gorgeous print”, claimed another.

A third added: “Skirt goals.”

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “I have that skirt too, love.”

If this has inspired you to check out your nearest Tu Clothing aisle in Sainsbury’s, you may also want to look out for an item being hailed as the “skirt of dreams” by shoppers.

The Leopard Print Side Split Midaxi Skirt is available in sizes 8 to 24 and costs £22.

And you’ll be immediately on-trend when you wear it as 90s leopard print has made a huge comeback this summer.

Fashion influencer Poppy Adams said: “When I first saw this skirt on the TU Clothing website I was like, in my basket immediately.

“In my opinion, this is the perfect midaxi skirt.

“We’ve got a little slit and an elasticated waist. This is 10 out of 10 in my opinion.

“You all know my undying love for TU Clothing but I swear, every year they just keep getting better and better.”

Why supermarket fashion is on top form, says Fabulous Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale

I love shopping at the supermarkets – over the past few years whilst certain high street stores have folded, the style down the aisles has gone from strength to strength.

Now when I head in to do my weekly food shop I always have to make a pit stop at the clothing section to see what’s new in.
Not only are the pieces a great price, but the supermarkets have really nailed what their customers want.
From core wardrobe staples, good quality denim, pretty dresses and fun accessories they really have everything covered.
These days I only buy my jeans from the supermarkets having pairs from both Tu at Sainsbury’s and F&F at Tesco.
And to me there’s no better feeling than someone complimenting your outfit for you to tell them it’s from a supermarket.
Last week I picked up a gorgeous black crossbody bag from Sainsbury’s at just £14 and I’ve had so many people tell me it looks a lot more expensive.
Working in fashion I get to see and feel a lot of clothes and I can tell you that the quality of the pieces from these shops are great, especially for the price
